*posted in the description but posting here as well: Apologies if my energy seems lackluster in this video - admittedly my focus was not all there at the time and I had such bad brain fog that I could barely formulate any commentary (I'd also just binged the final four episodes of the show back-to-back which I don't normally do so I was also slightly overstimulated and brain-blasted 😂) I really loved this finale way more than my energy reflects in this video!

not lackluster at all, I took you as always with the same possitive way, this series was flawless, could´ve had longer episodes so it wouldn`t feel like they could`ve extendend more and not to be kind of rushed sometimes, but at the end one of the best so far

What an amazing pirate theme adventure with heart series that Skeleton Crew is!! Honestly loved this entire series, aye!!! Yet alas many mysteries of At-Attin still remain, as well with Jod's past and the mysterious Tak Rennod - could these stories be a door to potential spinoff? Only time will tell!! Also welcome back SM-33, Ky'hmm, and the New Republic!! Three cheers to the Skeleton Crew!!! AYE!!! Anyways hope you are well, my friend!!

Hi Cat! I read the description. You don't need to apologize. The delay is understandable. There is no rush. I cannot imagine how tough it's been to focus. You have my support, Cat. I appreciate your content. Again, no rush to post. The most important thing is that you're safe. Yeah, I was surprised that the parents didn't think he was dangerous or threatening used his lightsaber. That felt threatening. But, I guess they believed he was an emissary because he had a lightsaber? Uncertain. Yeah...it looks like almost everyone is fully in line with the Supervisor's message and thinking it is good. That may be why they went along with Jod being an emissary. Perhaps they've been taught to just willingly obey the Supervisor and any emissary. I wonder why the Supervisor didn't have any backup plans. Shouldn't it have some redundancies in case something like that happened (like Jod stabbing it)? I thought it would have some backup plans. True. Everyone warned the kids about Jod. So I concur that the red flags were there early on and throughout. Yep :) I too was excited to see the X-Wings take on the pirates :). I have the same thoughts. I am curious about the aftermath. I wonder what's going to happen now with the vacuum (especially with the Supervisor's destruction). Great point. I wonder how Jod escaped Inquisitors. I liked how they left it ambiguous; it leaves nice mystery as well as opens up opportunities for future stories (i.e. escape as you said and maybe having a deal with the Republic to be free as long as he does something to help them - but ends up betraying them). I agree. I thought there would be redemption. But, maybe it'll happen in season 2, should there be a second season (I truly hope so). :) Great reaction! Take care, Cat :) Stay safe :) And again, you don't need to apologize, Cat. It's okay :).

10:36 B-wings superlassr from Rebel's was not on my bingo card 😲🥳🥳 ended a bit abruptly would have been nice if the republic ship landed and someone got out and was "hi I'm Zeb from the new republic" (doesn't even need to be a cameo just someone welcoming them) kind of thing. Great show really enjoyed it

@birdchurch9488 ah cool I've not played Squadrons. I'd imagine the B-wings gyro cockpit would make flying it difficult or is that part of the fun

@@thestanleys3657 They aren't the easiest to fly but the damage they can do makes it worth it when it's done right

At Attin and the other "protected" worlds were multi-generational projects. The Supervisor talks about it when it says "for generations". If the standard length of time for a generation is similar to ours, that's around 25-30 years each generation. Several can be from 2-5 most of the time, so that gives a range of 50 years at least, to 150 as the upper (maybe a little more). Odds are it's somewhere in between, and that would mean Palpatine isn't even alive when these worlds were created, maybe even before his master existed. None of the families would have any reason to leave or actively wonder what's out there, if they're all housed, fed, and employed. The Supervisor being a droid makes sense because it's less likely to become corrupted (if at all) by what they were all sitting on, versus what any sentient being with a limited life span would start to think about as they got older and closer to being replaced.

I feel like the big payoff from this whole adventure was that Whim didn't have to take assessment at the end of it 🙂 I want to know more about Jod's master/backstory now too. 'even in the worst places, there are good people too" - soon as I heard this I thought this is old school Star Wars vibes!

Glad to have you back, Cat. I thought it's good for what it is: Goonies in Star Wars. In all fairness though I'm old, so it takes a lot for me to be impressed.

Jod clearly didn't want to kill the kids or their parents he had many opportunities he's the opposite of Ezra
@birdchurch9488Күн бұрын
Yeh, I think he was selfish but ideally he wanted his victory without hurting anyone
@lordfoul6259Күн бұрын
@birdchurch9488 yeah he was really selfish but not evil now if they bring him back for anything I'm concerned he could down a darker path and join The Knights of Ren
@birdchurch9488Күн бұрын
@ That's true, and I'd be up for watching that! 😄 but I could also see him being a Han style selfish at first but slowly coming around to others type

Nevarro in Mando Season 3 - Sorry, but the obvious Imperial Remnant mole said you're not a member world, so sorry, but we can't help you with your pirate problem. At Attin here - You're an Old Republic mint world that has been out-of-touch with the rest of the galaxy for centuries, to the point that most regard you as a pirate myth, but we're gonna send 8 X-Wings, 2 B-Wings, and a CR90 Corvette. That being said, it's nice to see the New Republic actually do something for once.
