Such a great character episode, for almost everyone involved. I loved how Gobi gets to shine here, not only as the fun uncle but also as the partisan who doesn't give in to wishful thinking. Like Saw in episode #1 he can see that the fight isn't over just because the war is. (Yes, he's voiced by Corey Burton who also voiced Bane.) Ezra was born on the same day Palpatine founded the Empire btw - the same day the Bad Batch met Omega so he's still a tiny baby at this time.

Yeah I'm enjoying these characters knowing that the battle isn't truly over

one thing to remember is that thanks to rebels we know that hera's mother dies at somepoint durring chams revolt against the empire and that she had a brother who we know is dead when they were young. while we don't know when specifically hera's brother died its most likely they died during the clone wars. which would really gives us a reason as to why cham wants this peace to work. he doesn't want to lose anymore of his family but we know the moment he loses his wife he becomes completely locked in on freeing ryloth and its people no one else especially when hera leaves to join the larger rebellion. we not only see Gobi in rebels with cham and numa we see him in the same clone wars ep we see numa for the first time. he's the one who picks her up when they are escaping the tactical droid with the help of Obi-wan. considering numa's parents are dead and gobi is her uncle. gobi is pretty much already set up to be a radical since the only person he has left to really care for is his niece and he is already close enough with cham that if he should die he can reliy on cham to take care of her. cham has hera and his wife and therefore more to lose plus he's already lost one family member. the chips were pretty much to make obedience to an order without question. really order 66 was specifically meant for jedi and those who help them weather it be fight alongside them or help them escape not really other rebellious forces. so order 66 doesn't really mean munch unless a jedi were to be leading or be a part of the rebel forces here.

I was wondering if anything to do with her mother or brother popped up in this show but now I'm not sure! Thanks for explaining the chips in more depth. I assumed it was Jedi's/rebellions!

I've been summoned. Uh...hey. I don't know if you still remember me lol, but I just wanted to stop by and say I wasn't dead 🙂 Tbh I've kinda just...stopped caring about Star Wars recently. I'm sure I'll get back into it eventually and binge all your bad batch videos, but rn, nah. Plus I'm just not the biggest fan of bad batch tbh, so...yeah. Anyway, that's all. Hera summoned me, and I just wanted to give a wellness update. Like I said, I'll get back into it sometime kinda soon and start commenting. Keep up the good work ❤

Hey! Tis a shame you've fallen out of love but hopefully you can rekindle it again at some point. Thanks for coming back to check in, I was only thinking a couple of weeks back I hadn't heard from ya. Glad you're okay!
