So... when the show was showing Master Billaba and Caleb Dune, I was so nervous when it revealed their Order 66 scene. But after I got over the sadness of it... I went back and found one particular detail that stood out to me. Notice that Master Billaba never killed her Clone Commander. I love that detail because it contributes to how Caleb survives later. She saw Order 66 relayed to Grey and was confused at first. But he fired on her instantly before she could question what that was all about. She disarms and kicks him to the ground. Doesn't kill him. She probably wanted to question him later but before she could even think, the other clones started turning on her with the order as well. Rapid escalation leads to her being overwhelmed. I'm not sure if they animated or did that on purpose in the show but... Commander Grey would eventually follow Caleb to Lahn in the comics. He would also realize that something had taken their free will when Order 66 was given. Spoiler: * He sacrificed himself to let Caleb/Kanan Jarrus survive. His last words when the other clones asked what he was doing as he blew themselves up to give Kanan a chance to escape... "Making things right." It's still one of the most epic and tragic one liners I've seen/heard a clone declare who executed Order 66.

Depa Bilapa having a blue lightsaber? Why? Also why do they refuse to show Jedi killing clones during 66? Obi-Wan and Yoda butchered every last clone they came across lol. Also wish they didn't retcon the Kanan origin comics.
@minisarge26193 жыл бұрын
I feel that. Was incredibly confused about the blue. My guess is budget? As for retconnong the comics, season 7 did this too. I have theory that the Kanan comics aren't exactly what happened, as of rn, I'm assuming anything in the comics happened as they did, but Kanan's PTSD, subsequent alchohol abuse and just time passing combined/shuffled around the order of particular memories. My guess is that Kanan's version of order 66 combines that day with a conversation he had with Depa the night before, thus allowing both to exist.

@@minisarge2619 Yeah, I just wonder if Caleb will be shown more in this season and if they will retcon more of the comic's story. I hope not because the comic storyline was good as it was.

I hope we get to see Imperial ships and vehicles in this season such as Tie line and maybe even the Victory Class Star Destroyer which could be brought in as a symbol of the former Republic's Victory in the Clone Wars as from my understanding the Victory is no longer canon haven't seen it in any Clone Wars media at all even though it was used mid way through the war.
@randalmills3 жыл бұрын
I would not only recommend this, but at this point, given what shows have both already aired (Clone Wars, Mandalorian, and now Bad Batch) and what shows are to come out (Ahsoka, Book of Boba Fett, Rangers of the New Republic, and the other shows that are building up to a climax with Grand Admiral Thrawn) watching STAR WARS REBELS is now a must. Without giving away detailed spoilers, it explains what happens to Ahsoka, Rex, Vader, Mandalore (during the time of the Empire), the history of the Dark Saber, explains why Bo Katan didn't just take it in Mandalorian, we see the origins of the Rebellion leading up to Rogue One and a New Hope, we see what happens to Maul, we see the development of Saw Gerrera, Grand Admiral Thrawn makes is canon on-screen entrance in the series, it even further establishes what happens with the Jedi Padawan you just saw in the first episode of The Bad Batch because he's one of the main characters of Rebels, and finally extends the knowledge of the Force.

a real question would be why didnt she sense Mace Windu's death before order 66 was called... there was no reaction , she only looked at sidious calling order..66. Mace Windu was her master She would have sensed him being killed ,, Maybe Mace is still alive
@minisarge26193 жыл бұрын
My guess is they suppressed the training link, either because there's too much going on or by ceremoniously sever upon her knighting since Windu is a strict no attachment kind of guy.

Clone Force 99 as the imperfect versions escaped by the skin of their teeth with the exception of Crosshair who had the inhibitor chip still dormant but just needed to be activated. He will serve as the anti-hero for sure in this series. But I think Clone Force 99 will try to save him from Tarkin and the Empire. We will also get to see Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand lending a hand as the trailers teased her this season.

Hunter's look reminds me very much of John Rambo from Rambo but you also have little bit of Hannibal's personality from The A-Team. The recap from Revenge of the Sith in CGI style with Kenobi fighting of the droids and Grevious escaping during the opening sequence is captured so perfectly. Continuity wise they are focused on the Clone Wars and seeing from the clones perspective.

16:31 Omega could possibly be a naturally growing clone like Boba without the growth acceleration. This assumes all five enhanced clones were part of the same batch. If not, the difference in age isn't relevant.

Judging by Ezra's birthday literally being Empire Day, I put this series as being around 14, almost 15 years before Rebels, and thereby approximately 18-19 years before Rogue One, seeing as Ezra's approximately a few days to a week older than Luke and Leia.

Correct. Rebels starts in 5 bby. The last episode is like 6 months before Rogue One. We know this because ezra celebrates his 15h birthday in season 1. We also know Luke and Leia are 19 during a new hope and Ezra is just a few days older than Luke and Leia.
