@@cisshadowfeed4946 I do think that's kinda the point overall. The Empire was the pet project of a selfish man who turned the entire galaxy on its head in order to gain absolute power over it. It's a reflection of his selfish, megolomanical will. There are those who see value in it, such as Thrawn, but men like him with honest belief in the empire are few and far between. It's basically a reflection of Nazi Germany if they won. Their party started as to bring order to the chaos of their nation, and that allowed a tyrant to rule over its misguided people. That, and Nazis are cool as villains: Their attire, their uniformity, their ruthelesness. Very cool villains indeed.

Cutting the music as the firing begins was such a good move. The carnage and raw violence of the scene, as well as amazing visuals of explosions and laser fire illuminating the dark and foggy terrain, takes the forefront and highlights the intensity of the engagement. It feels less like a sci-fi battle and more like what an actual war is; chaos, screams, fighting, pure hell. And I think I commented this before, maybe on this video or another, but the fact that the clones are fighting MEN and not machines makes the fighting far more personal and ferocious. It just has a way different feel than when they're fighting the droids. The droids are rigid, static, emotionless. The Umbarans move fluidly and use much more sophisticated tactics, like relying on ambushes for maximum damage and their terrifying technology that aims at instilling as much fear into their opponents as it does carnage. And unlike droids they do have emotions. They have fear as well as fury and it definitely comes across, especially in the highway ambush scene later. The entire Umbara arc is probably my favorite collection of episodes for these and many, many more reasons. It was executed almost flawlessly and really showed just how awful and violent the clone wars really were, and the effects and issues it brought up among the clones.
