This is much-much better than the previous cut, it totally misleads the viewer into thinking what is significant and what is not, just like trailers are supposed to do

Agreed, which is why it "fails" at being a truly modern trailer, which would have definitely ruined the Yoda reveal, at a minimum

Other than the shot of the Falcon flying in the huge asteroid, the previous cut was better and had more gravitas. The volume here was also very low in the first 40 seconds.

Like so many here, I saw the original as a young person. (I saw it when I was 11). Magnificent editing job. Misdirection and spectacle, questions raised....as are the little bumps under every hair follicle I have. Now I have to go watch it again. Thank you. PS - DISNEY .... hire this person or at the very least take some damn notes, because THIS is how you do it!

This is epic! I loved the line from the last one though: "I'm not afraid" and I always thought that you should have left that clip till the end and finished on a chilling "Oh, you will be. You will be..." from Yoda as Vader's breathing fades in and then you show the clip from Luke's vision where Vader arrives and luke raises his lightsaber. You know, the more I think about this the more I might try editing that myself! Anyway kudos bro, this is really good.

Yeah I loved the "I'm not afraid," but I think it's critical that it doesn't give away Yoda as an important character (or that the voice belongs to him). In the movie, the reveal on Dagobah that the annoying creature with the funny voice is the great warrior Luke is seeking is too good. If you throw in the "you will be," to the trailer it would show that that character has consequence.

Too bad you didn't review either cut to realize the vocal tracks are hosed up (1st cut- all the way through- too low; 2nd- the fist 3rd is too low). Otherwise- your first one was GREAT. This is too.
