It's kind of funny for me in hindsight. Back when Episode 3 was coming out, we had one of those vehicles the Clone Troopers used in the beginning(I forget the name). The toy was pretty decent(though it did eventually fall apart), but it didn't come with any pilots, which always frustrated me to no end. Seeing this actually come with a pilot just brings a smile to my face, even if it is 5 POA.

Hey C, are there any screws that I can remove the springs from the Tie Fighter? They're a... to do stop motion & play with without the wing popping off.

@@3lizbth.737 Yes, just unscrew all the pieces, pull it apart, find the springs on the sides, take them out, & put the toy back together. Just note that by doing so, if you shake it hard enough, the wings will fall off. You can fix this by gluing them to the TIE Fighter after the springs are removed.

+bardy18 Hey come to brazil and you will pay 250 R$ for the tie fighter and 50 R$ for an action figure also 800 R$ for the LEGO millenium falcon. Not a very big currency difference from Real$ to Euro € but things here are REALY EXPENSIVE here in brazil. PS: 40 dollars is 155 Reais(now) , but like i said you will be paying 250 here because o f the realy high taxes.

Excelent detailed review, so a vehical for 2015 and crap 5POA figure from the 70's! $40 is expensive! try at least $60 in the UK. The 6 inch version is $252.00! I see we have the usual black Tie Fighter and a black X-Wing as-well.

I actually prefer 5 point articulation, especially for kids.

Why? For adults, it limits display options of what you can do with the figure, and as a kid, more articulation meant more play value, so why should 5 POA exist when the industry has gotten better than that?

I agree about that more articulation means better poses, and maybe even better play value for some but when I was a kid, 5 POA didn't hinder play. I don't think that young children care. What I don't like about the super articulation is that the multiple joints effect the nice clean shapes of the figure. They look wobbly, like they have broken bones or something. I don't know….

The pilots are supposed to sit back to back. Not side by side and just facing opposite directions. The ship is too small.
