In 1977, I was a soldier in Korea. A friend said "come home, now!" So I spent $1150 bucks on round-trip ticket from Seoul to Seattle, with no idea what I was doing. In theater all was revealed as the Blockade runner was pursued by the Star Destroyer!

+José Ríos I see such childhood magic in her eyes. I remember the first time I watched Star Wars on a bus coming home from a field trip in 5th grade. The first action figures I saved up for and bought with my own money. I still have them. Taping The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi when they were on the USA Network on Christmas Day 1997 ("Star Wars 33% Off" lol because they didn't show A New Hope) and then watching them until I knew every line and the tape wore out. So many beautiful memories for us true believers.

The best parts are with the zoom in wideshot of Darth Kylo Ren, looking out into space which looks like an opera as the music becomes more defined when you realize, as the Millenium Falcon is getting chased, your familiarity with the theme. That one especially. Even more, that moment exactly; it's as if we're witnessing something legendary. It's like, it's real and yes, it's all true.

Star Wars is ageless. I have been watching reactions. Everyone from the high school kids of today to those who saw the originals in the theaters are shaking with excitement. Its wonderful. I know its over a year old but I love this women. I've been watching all these videos for the first time. I'm 48 years old and I remember watching Star Wars when I was 9 years old. when I saw this trailer I was crying like you would not even believe. It brought so many memories back to me especially when the music played Leia's theme. I'm actually watching The Last Jedi as I write this text. Big fan of the originals and my parents always made sure I got to see the first viewing back when I was a kid. My memory of this film is I secured 3 tickets way ahead of time at the theatre near their home. I flew in to see them(both in their 80s) and said we should go see the new Star Wars movie. My dad told me it was sold out for days and I told him not for us. My mom knew I was coming and actually bought me a Kylo Ren tee that I changed into before driving them to the theatre, and she had no idea we were going to see it! What a night! They both passed within 6 months, my mom first, then dad. So this movie was a great last event for us

For some of us it's not only about the movie, but the memories the old characters and the music bring back. I'm 42 years old and I cried because it brought back memories when I watched the original Star Wars with my dad for the first time. I remember the wonder and the excitement I felt as a kid, feelings I thought I had lost throughout the years during the natural process of getting older and thinking rational ('it's just a movie"). This trailer brought it all back and I felt like a kid again. Some of you won't understand it, but someday you will. I hope.
