Kevin Kiner, Jeremy Soule, Mark Griskey, Gordy Haab and Stephen Barton are just about the only composers that have ever succeeded in recapturing Williams' feel. I really wish Lucasfilm would hire any of them instead of the ones they've been hiring for the films so far. Giacchino is a decent composer but not for Star Wars. As for John Powell... as much as I loved Solo's soundtrack compared to Rogue One's (which only has one or two tracks that actually feel like Star Wars), he really just remixed a lot of Williams' themes and motifs, including the feel of Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park. And as for The Mandalorian... its soundtrack just isn't Star Wars at all. It's like they were trying too hard to capture a different feel and as such, they went OVERBOARD and made a soundtrack that doesn't have any of that Star Wars feel whatsoever. They really should just have Kevin Kiner do all of the soundtracks for all of the shows. But if we got any of those five sonic artisans to write the soundtracks for all of the films going forward, we'd be in luck. In particular, I liked Gordy and Stephen's collaborative work on Jedi: Fallen Order, which is the best non-Williams Star Wars soundtrack ever made IMO.

@@jakobfel2 gonna have to massively disagree on your take on giacchino, he did an excellent job of making new themes that fit right in with the classics. also mandalorian's soundtrack is amazeballs, but the only reason it doesn't have that star wars feel is because of the amount of electronic work in it as opposed to being purely orchestral.

This actually plays in the game if *spoliers* you are the Jedi Knight and choose to kill the Emperor at the conclusion of the class storyline. That scene combined with this song... those are the kind of Star Wars moments to live for.

KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are great games, I've been recently getting into them for the first time. However, as an MMO fan, I actually find SWTOR even more engaging (plus, its combat is better IMO). Might just be because it's a newer game, but it just feels cooler IMO.

li william swtor is actually great. But as someone who got into old republic lore with swtor and later played kotor games, I must say they defiled Revan’s story. That alone makes this game worthless and a travesty. To have butchered the story of the series’ main character and cast him aside like that... it’s on the same level as the sequel trilogy.

I miss this Main Menu Theme of SWTOR. Starting up the game, loading the game and the theme starts and your character doing that intense stare down on your screen. Like your character is destined for greatness.

While Kotor I and II had a soundtrack which well reflected the much lesser scale war that their heroes where fighting, this is the perfect theme to show how big and epic and magnificent the Great galactic War was as a conflict. You no longer hiding from the Sith striking from the shadows, now they have a goverment, a emperor, ministers, assasins, a considerable portion of the galaxy. No side is bigger than the other. Civilians fighting for the freedom of his home world, cold wars, insurgents, bombardments. Its just the same vibe as WW2, but in SW

Even though SWTOR completely ripped off WoW gameplay I still loved it. Also back in the day where your companions weren't completely overpowered, they only had one class and it was really a challenge to fight an elite enemy. Nowadays everything is a lot easier (I CAN SOLO THAT 4 MAN GROUP BOSS GREE DROID)

If I were to make an entire fan-film series on The Star Wars Expanded Universe (All the way from The Zhell vs. Taung War on Notron (Prehistoric Coruscant); up to Darth Wredd's defeat in Legacy); the first episode (Dha Werda Verda: Rage of The Shadow Warriors) would have the traditional Star Wars Title Crawl, but with this song as background music. Then, I would have a variety of different songs accompanying the opening crawls for the different era(s) of the film(s) in question; with a few surprises here, and there. At the last episode of the series (Darth Wredd's defeat, and the final end of The Sith), I would also play this song in the opening crawl for that final episode, just to end it how it started, because "It's like poetry, it rhymes". Wouldn't that be AWESOME?!? Also, if this were to happen, I wouldn't be making episodes regarding events that were put on screen, such as Video Games (KOTOR 1, and 2; Battlefront 1, and 2; The Old Republic MMO; Force Unleashed 1, and 2; etc.); TV shows (Clone Wars 2003, and 2008; Droids; Ewoks; etc.); or The Movies themselves; as those are parts of The EU I think the audience would understand, and learn better themselves (Go get those things yourself, and watch/play them); plus, I don't want to rip-off, or discredit all the people that already put those things on screen in the first place, and hoard all the viewership traffic to myself, and my fan-films. I would, however, make fan-films on things written strictly in book form (Comic Books, Reference Books, and Novels); just so people could have a visual/audio aid on things (If needed), and events in The EU that otherwise have no imagery (Novels with no accompanying sourcebooks; with pictures of important things, like ships; planets; people of different species (And what they looked like); duels/battles between characters, or armies/navies in open combat; etc.). Want to know what happened in The Pius Dea Era, beyond a few images in The Essential Guide to Warfare, and Essential Atlas? Want to see The Thrawn Trilogy in movie form (All the characters the way they would look in Illustrations; voice actors; music scores; sound effects; the whole Hollywood sha-bang!) after so many years of waiting for such to happen? Want to see The Yuuzhan Vong War; and later time periods; as well as anything else before The KOTOR era (Rakatan Infinite Empire; Tython; Tion vs. Hutts; Foundations of, and early days of The Republic; Alsakan Conflicts; Hundred Year Darkness; Tulak Hord, and Marka Ragnos in all their glory; Great Hyperspace War; and everything else in between)? That's what it would be; a whole series that brings all The EU onto your screen(s) (If they aren't on screen, already); being as close to the source material, and/or the intent of the source material as humanly possible. If the book says "Darth Bane smirked at Zannah's comment", you would see him smirk on-screen, as well as lifting all spoken dialogue straight from the books onto the film, itself. If any narration/narrator monologue-ing is in order, there would be as such. And, when there is a fan-film on less well-recieved parts of The EU (Crystal Star; Sun Crusher; Dark Empire; etc.); well, don't blame me for it, I'm just lifting from The Source Material. But if it is TRULY/ABSOLUTELY necessary, I will change the plot up JUST A TINY BIT, just to make the plot more bearable for everyone; because I want to be as faithful to The Source Material as I possibly can! Of course, this is all just a fat dream; but, a man can dream, can't he?

It lost its charm with kotfe. I find the class stories more enjoyable than anything else. the makeb story sucked balls, shadow of revan was boring, and this new expansion almost killed my excitement. they should just bring more operations and go back to the old routes
