I wish he was carded. But since he is a deluxe, he really should've included everything you could want for a Jango - the other jetpack (with removable missile like Tatooine Boba), the poncho, the headset, maybe a zip-line accessory. Most of that stuff was included with the first TVC figure so I guess they saw this as supplemental to that release, but that figure is unobtainable now. They should've been included here. For this character, I'd be happy to get another release with a fixed helmet with the triangles and a retooled, normal-sized gauntlet on a Geonosis card. I really think this figure deserves to be on a glorious card.

I came here to say the same thing. He should have all of the accessories you mentioned. The old standard release VC Jango was more deluxe than this one.

Same, and I would not be shocked if we see a carded release down the road. It would likely have a non flame accessory gauntlet, the other jetpack, and maybe the poncho? Hasbro would love to get as much out of their tooling investment and a carded release will definitely prompt a lot of people to purchase this one again. Also Jango deserves a proper figure on a proper TVC card ✨👌😃✌️✨

That Jango was great in terms of accessories and really highlights how lucky we were in the past with mainline releases. You could say that Hasbro has fallen from the way in terms of that type of mainline release.

@@ToysAreTheWayI’m all but certain we’ll be seeing this figure again. Possibly on a standard card as you suggest, of possibly as a deluxe figure but with alternate accessories like the Kamino jet pack, headset and poncho, but maybe without the flame effects. I think people are really gonna want him on a standard card, so that is probably what they’ll do, kinda similar to the upcoming Sabine Wren…. Hey, maybe a 2 pack with Jango and Zam Wessell??? Probably not.

Honestly no way they are gonna charge deluxe pricing and not give us the second jet pack option…. Like really Hasbro, they dropped the ball on that big time. Other than that awesome figure

Yeah I agree, there's no reason they could not just toss in another jetpack. Sure maybe there's some cost or factory time issue that we collectors aren't seeing, but going that extra mile would have really shown the fans that they are putting all their efforts towards making the fans happy ✨🤘😁🤘✨

The flame thrower effect is totally new and much better than the one that came with the flametrooper which just looked like a melted crayon.

Ahh you're right!! It's actually really similar to the one from the CW Flame Thrower Trooper from back in the day, but still new. I will say their translucent plastic has been looking much better on these releases ✨🤘😁🤘✨

Thanks for another great review! Personally, even though I’ve wanted this figure for years, I’m holding out for clearance pricing on this one. $25 is just too much IMO. They should have put him on a card and charged the $18 to $20 “Fett tax” price like they have done with a few of the Boba repaints we’ve gotten in TVC.

This figure looks phenomenal. I agree the triangles on the helm should not be missing, the holsters should be better proportioned, and his Kamino jetpack and poncho definitely should’ve been included. Excited to update my Geonosis display with the updated Jango and the fantastic Dooku! I hope ROTJ Boba Fett gets the Deluxe Jango treatment with updated barbell legs, a flamethrower effect gauntlet, articulated ranger-finder, and the jetpack sculpt used for BOBF Deluxe Boba Fett with screen accurate metallic paint apps on the white portions of his jetpack. Not to mention an TESB Green armored Boba Fett with updated ranger finder, and barbell leg articulation on a single card release. Great review!

If I was in charge of prices for Vintage Collection, I would charge the deluxes for between $15 to $17 and the exclusives would be a dollar extra and I say that' a way better price than how they actually cost.

Rising costs are challenging for sure, and Hasbro needs to understand that there is a limit. At the same time, there is such a backlog of characters we need that require all new tooling and the investment for the molds...It's a rough spot to be in ✨😃✌️✨

I think when i get my hands on this it might be my favorite figure of this year. Also i do agree he should've have come with more accessories like the headset when he's flying the Slave one and poncho. But other than that its great to have a brand new Jango figure after the different version that we got. And I've already seen Bossk Bounty's vid and the force is with Jesse.

I had major issues with the neck/articulation on mine, I used a nylon brush on my Dremel to remove some material off the back of the neck and sliced about 1mm off the length of the neck to gain some articulation for the head sculpt, also, the neck ball joint wouldn't fit into the helmet at all, so I had to dremmel out the helmet socket with a ball burr on my Dremel. While I've now sorted it and improved it....we shouldn't have to do that, especially with a "deluxe" price tag. Nice review as usual 👍🏻

Nice that sounds like a decent fix to get that much needed articulation! I will certainly have to try that or something else, but yeah we shouldn't have to adjust our fugues, especially when they are $25, they need to be perfect 🤘😁✌️

@@ToysAreTheWay indeed, prices are going up, but quality control is going down. I did a quick vid on my channel explaining how I modified mine, it's not hard, but you have to take it easy, otherwise you could end up with a post battle of geonosis version of jango 😂

I can respect the figure here and look forward to your future posing videos (especially Tyranus). However, I’m happy that I didn’t pick it up. If it was a standard release, I would have been okay with the reuse. But this isn’t the way… I noticed how bad the neck was on VC299 and I think this issue has been brought to this release here. Pre Vizsla can’t look up so it looks like Jango uses the same upper body piece. Flying poses like he does in AotC will not be properly accomplished. This is something I noticed more and more, and unlike the elbow and knee joints problems, this is something that isn’t discussed at all. Maybe this is an issue with the Mando body used on both Pre Vizsla and Jango but I don’t know if VC252 Morak Boba has a similar problem.

I'm surprised he's still using the old knee joints. The ones on the new mando bodies actually make great use of the ankle rockers, so this is kind of a let down. Still a nice looking figure, at least I have his old Legacy collection poncho if I do get him.

He does look like a good figure. They really should though try to create some consistency as to what Deluxe boxes are going to have more accessories and which ones won't. The new Zeb is a deluxe and doesn't seem to include anymore than what he'll have as part of the Haslab but at least there's an option there provided the person bought the Haslab to have him on a card. Maybe Jango will be re-released on one like the Dark Trooper I guess we'll have to wait and see. Not sure if Grievous will ever get an update but with his recent resurgence in Tales Of The Empire and the 20th anniversary of Revenge Of The Sith coming up I think it's likely he'll end up in a deluxe box. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video and review.

He's certainly a great looking Jango, I still can't get over how much I actually like the silver paint apps. But I totally agree that there needs to be better consistency for these "world building" Deluxe items. Jango comes with some neat accessories but they're not really "world building" in my eyes. Zeb makes some sense, or even the recently pipelined Cobb Vanth, simply because of the new tooling that is needed. Particularly Vanth, but Jango doesn't have a lot of new tooling at all to warrant a Deluxe price. I really would like to see a Grievous update, he's desperately in need of one, and such a popular character 👌😎🤘

I got mine a few days ago and was was dismayed at the quality control, mine has two of the same arm, so his elbow joint is in the front and missing the flame gauntlet. I have contacted Hasbro Pulse, but its a weekend so I have no idea when they will get back to me if I can replace it. If they refuse replacement that means I get to pay again for another deluxe figure that shouldn't have been deluxe.

About 6 months ago they sent me a Tusken Warrior with 2 right hands, meaning the left arm has a right hand at the end of it. I contacted Hasbro Pulse and they referred my issue to Some other Hasbro division like Hasbro World wide or something like that (sorry I don’t remember what it was called). Then I got an email from them saying they would be replacing my item with something of equal or greater value. Shortly there after I received a deluxe Darktrooper. While I appreciated that the value was higher it didn’t fix my Tusken issue. I then sent a polite email to Hasbro Pulse explaining my dissatisfaction with this solution and that I didn’t know why they couldn’t replace my figure with the same Tusken I originally purchased and noted that it was still listed as in stock on Hasbro Pulse. I even offered to ship the defective figure and the Darktrooper back to them if I could just get the correct item. Honestly, I was not hopeful they would take action but about 2-3 days later I received an email that Hasbro Pulse was shipping me a replacement Tusken for free. I have to stress that I was polite, but frustrated, in my email. In turn I was happy that HP did the right thing and replaced the defective figure with the same item. by the way they never asked me to return the original Tusken or the Darktrooper. My advice is be polite and be persistent and I believe you will get taken care of. Good luck.

The head will pop off, but it takes a bit of force to pull it. Once it's off you should be able to swap it for the helmet 😎🤘
