Star Wars Explained is now known as “Coddled and Sackless”. The soybean has lost almost 10k subscribers in the past 24 hours. The other KZbinr who Theory almost mentioned but decided to focus on Explained was Kyle Katarn, who is just as bad as Explained, and literally sends his Twitter followers to go harass and attack Theory online. Katarn was at “The Acolyte Roundtable” with SWE as well. Interesting that all of these channels have ties with Lucasfilm, ehh? Katarn’s channel is being annihilated now too and he removed the dislike count on his recent videos. What a wimp. He also recently got catfished, and was caught sending messages to his small Twitter cult telling them to harass Theory. These people are the definition of Bantha Fodder.

I would think TeamKZbin would act in SWT, G&G, RK, & any others being targeted favor on this with enough screenshots of their insanity. Sucks. I’m glad I still have everything before 2014…..it’s funny how they project their “toxicity” onto all of us (the majority of fans which is why ratings have tanked along w/ their agendas) but SWT & all these guys have the receipts. In fact if their half baked scheme worked and they removed all the channels they don't like. Those fans won't come and watch Explained or anyone involved in the united attempt to censor critics of Disney. More than likely those fans of those channels would be very angry and some of them will spend their time harassing and mocking the channels that did the attempt, wait and try to find the new channels of those where banned and sub to them again, or more than likely the angry fans of those channels will start their own ban attempt on these channels, keep copyright claiming, getting them reviewed and demonetised if they can. The Shill alliance would have created a hornet nest against them, that will keep sting them they are ruined, they dodged a bullet there I would say. Yet again long term thinking was never a woke shills strong suit. Just because a lawyer says you can sue, does not mean you can. It's not really out of nowhere. It's just an escalation. SW Explained got their start by choosing a name that was in other YTubers video titles. They did that to boost their channel. Then they made videos attacking Theory's videos to try to chip away at his tower. Theory just ignored them but the more successful he became the angrier Alex and Molly became. They just thought this was their big chance to ruin other, more successful channels and absorb their subscribers... and they failed. The big difference is SW Explained really just cares about subs and money and Theory cares about content. Their sub counts reflect that.

I get the idea that you shouldn't target individual people, but target generally bad behavior. Calling out many channels as being shills for corporations is a generally good thing. Picking on an individual, even if they are a shill, just ends up being targeted bullying. Those channels that are just in it for the money don't draw a line between criticism and bullying. They think stopping criticism will stop the hate because they assume everyone is at least as stupid as they are. One of the reasons why Star Wars theory is popular, is because he says what a lot of people are already thinking. Most people tend to gravitate to confirmation bias. Banning Star Wars Theory would reaffirm people's hate for Disney Star Wars and make things worse.

Saying you dislike a movie that someone is in is not a “hateful comment”. Saying that an actor was garbage in a role they played is not a “hateful comment”. Saying a movie is written with more of an express purpose to push a social agenda over entertaining fans is not a “hateful comment”. These people are using race, gender and class as a TOOL for getting what they want. They’re not actually defending any group like they’re attempting to appear to be, they’re using the injustices of the past to further their personal agenda, and tbh that’s just as bad (if not worse) than the original injustices. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if we someday find out that these channels are being encouraged to do this by studios or Disney themselves, as we’ve seen how miserably large corporations have failed in their attempts at social engineering through social media, and we’ve seen them use successful homegrown channels to accomplish their goals in light of their own failures. Starting KZbin wars and attempting to get channels banned who bash their terrible movies is an obvious next step for them… be aware of this and look for it, and I promise you’ll start seeing shills everywhere (because paid shills are the backbone of KZbin these days).

If this can be linked back to Lucasfilm even in a roundabout way, that's outright illegal because it amounts to a corporate attack on consumer free speech, in a manner deliberately subverting the normal protective regulations against such things. if this can be proven then they don't have to prove damages, they can still get a punitive judgement regardless of whether it worked or not. Basically the court would be well within their rights to fine everyone involved just to make an example of them.

man... I just scrolled through a bunch of the tweets regarding the drama. It amazes me that no matter how malicious and narcissistic you act on social media, you will still have an armada of "fans" marching to defend their queen. Saw a tweet where a verified account accuses Theory of being sexist for replying to Mollie's post. There are several tweets by users that didn't even read the demonetization statement and are assuming that Theory was never mentioned in the post, making comments about him having such an ego he has to force himself into the drama. Even those that acknowledge that he was mentioned proceed to write in the same sentence that Theory was never the intended target. This was my first exploration of Twitter again ever since I had enough in 2021 and cut myself off entirely and I think it will be my last.

1:03:00 On the one hand, I obviously fully support Nerdrotics, Ryan Kinel, G + G and SWT. This attempt at cancelling is unacceptable and I am happy seeing it fail, hopefully marking the end of this era of social media/entertainment industry. The franchise might finally be allowed to go dormant for a decade or two, maybe even be sold. I am also not surprised that SWE, HelloGreedo and all those youtubers from back in the days are two faced bullies, obsessed with numbers, virtue signaling to hide it and shilling for Disney. Even though I wasn't affected as I didn't use twitter back then, I haven't forgotten the chainblocking they did right after TLJ. On the other hand, looking at the general reception to this whole ordeal, I have to point out how insane it is to me that SWT seems to have managed to rewrite history about him. Make no mistake, he was a huge shill before the pandemic, just like them. He played both sides and heavily benefited from shilling for the sequels (even if he had some disagreements with TLJ). And that continued with the beginning of D+. Fencesitting was a smart move that allowed him to pivot to whatever side was growing which he did once he understood that the Star Wars brand was buried by joining the dissenting voices. He also didn't play fair either with his peers to grow his channel at the beginning. The whole SWE in video title was a clever way to manipulate the algorithm and get viewers from SWE. It certainly didn't benefit SWE overall as SWT was the channel with the momentum and most of the SWT subscribers weren't interested in SWE's content, preferring wishful thinking over explaining videos. That said, I am still glad that SWT turned this around, his saber company is amazing, and so was his work ethic.

I find theory interesting because you are absolutely right but it seemed to be a very slow shift. I’ve never watched him religiously but seemed to catch each shift Phase 1: he thought the sequels were going somewhere even when he had problems he thought it was going places Phase 2. He then convinced himself that there was a big plan but it didn’t land as well as it could but the skeleton of a good story was there ….they always were going to bring the emperor back ect Phase 3: this is what seemed to break him where he realised from a JJ Abram’s and other interviews there was no plan and they just winged it ….and JJ just sort laughing about it . This what turned him against it that there not only no plan …they didn’t care either That’s always how looked to me. What do you think?

Theory was positive about the Last Jedi, I would have called him a shill at the the time, but he was blinded by trust, it was only after Rise of Palpatine his eyes got opened, he seriously thought Luke didn't die in Last Jedi and that they would explain the Last Jedi, in Rise of Palpatine, that's what he thought, at the time.

Bruh. I've been subbed to swt since he had 100k subs. He was never positive about TLJ. Are you serious? He was absolutely devastated the way they treated Luke and was even pissed how they killed off snoke. Sure he was optimistic that they would fix things in ROS but he was never positive on TLJ. He's literally said that is the worst and most disappointing sw ever made.
