I really hope you are wrong about the difficulty to effectively draft Tarkin (imperial) or Leia (Rebel) decks. Those look like 2 of the most fun archetypes to me.

I hope so as well. I think Command can probably be very good (especially when paired with a strong color). The most important thing is to make sure that you draft for your Leader (and have fun).

They really are in fact tarkin is easily my favorite leader in the game but the point he makes is really valid for draft as it’s hard to be forced into grabbing imps if they are even available

I don’t understand the draw to Sabine isn’t it not great to also be blasting your own base? Help me understand this one because I hear it from most ppl that Sabine is great

It's more about being the one to choose to deal that damage. Plus, when she's deployed, she's only dealing damage to your opponent's base. Build a deck around her to be speedy, and you can take advantage of that time Sabine puts on the game.

Can't you choose whatever basic base you want? So why would it matter that I have access to x card pool??

You are absolutely correct. You can choose whichever base you want. And you do technically always have access to any card you draft, if you are cool with paying the tax. I suppose the better way to put it is "Guaranteed Access". If I definitely want to play Command cards, I'll want either my Base or Leader to be Command. Obviously having that Green leader frees up my Base for a secondary aspect (or to double up on Command if I'm feeling saucy). But yes, for clarity, you do ALWAYS have access to any common Base in Draft. :)
