Each week the KTOD brings you a meta matchup where the winner stays! King of the Hill pits meta decks against each other to see who comes out on top, will it be the current champ and new meta hotness Han2 Blue, or can Mono Blue Rey take the hill!?

Excellent video and thoroughly enjoyed this and all the content. Channels like yours are what is keeping my hopes high for SWU and we are dealing with a lot of fluctuating attendance and interest in my area currently. Also I started playing the Blue Rey deck at locals last week and was wicked impressed. Snagged 2-1 in BO1 and am stoked to jam it again tomorrow night. Probably going to make minor tweaks for BO1 but if our store showdown is BO3 it will be my go to as well

I like Blue-Rey 😂 also and I’m definitely taking the deck to the upcoming showdowns. Like you said, playing the cards you like is important also. I’m convinced on the Sugi’s, I played Maze Balbus before, but I like the smuggle option more. I’m still playing Jedi lightsaber over the second chance. Overall this deck gives me an ‘at ease’ feeling into every matchup and I don’t have issues going to time, it happened more with Han2Blue which I played before. My winrate on Karabast (take it with a grain of salt) is currently 92% with this deck, but IRL i did 2 locals and went undefeated on both. I went to a store I never went to before and I didn’t knew their meta and crushed it vs Sabine ECL, Han2Blue, Boba Green and Boba Yellow. Keep up the great job guys!

I went 5-0 swiss yesterday at my 1k but lost in the top 8 to the qira I beat in swiss, just as the timer hit 0. I actually beat 3/4 top 4 in swiss. It hurts!

I'd be interested to see Rey Blue vs Boba Yellow or a Cad deck. I've had issues with Cad's pings basically negating extra health and ambush being deadly too

Hey, I'm running Rey Blue and there is one card that's decimating me: Relentless. Sadly, it's in many decks in our local meta. What would you suggest against it? I've been considering siding Mystic Reflection (it works also against shielded Cunning units and Phantom TIEs, so it's a decent addition), and also maybe Imprisoned, which is a wild choice, but it shuts down Krayts, Avengers and others potentially. I find Imprisoned slow and very situational though.

@@SWU_KTOD, awesome, thank you. I'll report after our Showdown on Sunday how it all went. At this point, I have lost one Jedi Lightsaber (#3) from the sideboard and now run 2x Mystic Reflection, 2x Regional Guv, and 1x It Binds All Things. I honestly go a bit too deep in the feel of the Jedi theme, but it helps me immerse myself and perform better. Previous season I won with a version of a Chirrut Red which felt perfect for my playstyle. Since then, I build more toolboxy decks that don't often run 3x, but can answer a multitude of threads. I'll send you the list if you are interested.
