Just so you aware - it seems like the Wisconsin and Chicago qualifiers are happening literally on the same day as well... people are feeling like it was intentional to prevent double dipping? It is a bit too on the nose. I hope to see you at the PQ near me!

Curious, if that’s the case why are the 2 in Minnesota on different days. Not trying to say your wrong, just saying if that’s was the intention then it seems they didn’t do it for some places

@@johnilkka I did notice that - I want to go to the St. Paul PQ as well but it seems like there are more than a few locations close together that have same PQ dates. I guess it could be coincidence.

tranquility is a great card and hopefully I can pick it up. using it in a rex yellow deck currently

If you’re in green then home one is just better unfortunately

@ why not have both? Tranquility is really great with Rex because it lets me get my specific unit back and with yellow I can pick up plo or I can get an Ayla back. That’s the reasoning for tranquility. Home one doesn’t grab them. I honestly feel like tranquility has kept me alive in the grinding matches over home one

I think the prizing in set 3 is fine. I agree with the borders needing to go. I disagree on making meta cards the promo cards, not because it shouldn't happen, but because even in the small testing environment that they have, it would be impossible to pick those competitive cards 100% of the time. I would imagine perilous, for example, was tested, but probably not to the point they had stats to suggest it was competitive viable, and on top of that they are planning to start using the current street legal set as prizing for each competitive tournament. In other words, they won't have the data to determine the cards chosen in enough time to pick competitive cards, and these cards are most likely planned with the sets production because they need to plan the artist to design the art, print them, and have them ready for when the set is legal and the first events of that set are taking place. If that makes sense. So always having competitive cards while ideal won't always happen because of logistics until they are a bigger team. I think that they need to focus iconic characters and meme moments in the franchise more than to worry about trying to hit competitive. Prizing does need to be a little bit better. Maybe open up for winning a case or something. Maybe you get to pick a showcase and get one as prizing. Introduce Vader and Luke showcases since we don't have those yet. Just ideas for constructive criticism they could already have planned or to use.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts :) they will not get it 100% of the time, and that’s okay. From a competitive standpoint point, I don’t think anyone would have choosen Invisible hand or Tranquillity. From an iconic character, Rex is more iconic than savage or either of the ships, as we mention. Gor (like mace and takedown) were great choices, but clearly they shared they made mistakes set 2, and we were trying to share our thoughts on how things could be better for set 3. Ultimately we want the game to succeed, and as Jrod said, some people will choose to not play the game because of bad prizing, and we wanted to try and minimize that.

@Outmaneuver oh for sure, like I don't mean to suggest that wasn't your intention to speak for the sake of bettering prizing so that people find incentive to play. I'm just being realistic about the picks, which is why I'm suggesting alternative and additional prizing to just these promo arts as a big step in the right direction.
