Star Wars VHS Tape Collection in 4K 📺🎬🎥👽⚔️📼

Episode 3 had a VHS release. But the US never got it. And even in different countries its a rare find nowadays (unlike the other 5 episodes wich are still commonly available on the format). I managed to get lucky finding a used copy on ebay for around 140 bucks and that is cheap for this tape...

Yeah it got a release on VHS in Australia, the UK, Japan, and South Korea. The DVD-only release of Revenge of The Sith in North America was probably one of the final nails in the coffin for the VHS format.

My Dad has these Star Wars Original Trilogy VHS tapes back in 1988 and we still have them after three decades and five years (35 years)

Yes there not cheap as sometimes you can find them on Australian eBay for around $200 to $300

Im jealous you guy got nice plastic cases. In the states i only recall ever seeing thin paper cases. Thankfully my THX set of the original trilogy is in decent shape.

The ian mcdiarmid palpatine is in the 2004 dvd and blu ray I like That version of palpatine in Star Wars the Empire Strikes back. Which version of palpatine you like in the empire strikes back in return of the Jedi Vader have no eyebrows witch I love that him with eyebrows it’s suck so Darth Vader with no eyebrows is better and the young Anakin ghost is good.

I am on my way to collect all tapes of original versions, afaik, versions I need to collect are: 89 release (full only), all time great series (full only), 92 release(wide boxset), 94 THX release(full + wide), 95 THX release(full boxset+ wide boxset) and pre certs.
