Star Wars Vintage Saga Collection (VSC) 2006-2007 Worst to First

In this video I do my best to rank the Vintage Saga Collection (2006-2007) from Worst to First. It was very difficult as all of the figures are pretty decent with the vintage cards all replicating the originals from back in the late 1970's and 80's. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video and I would be interested to know you opinion. Which is your favourite etc? Let me know in the comments!

yeah its been long enough now that they are due an update. The problem is they have so many figures still to do that have never been done, then all figures for all the new films and tv shows we will be getting. Thats one of the reasons I dont like the Retro line, all that money could of gone into making more VC figures!

The Biker Scout and Snowtrooper figures in this line are my all time favourite stormtrooper figures. I've had both of mine for a number of years now and they still haven't gone yellow. Truly works of art as Star Wars figures 👌

I love Bossk too! He has always been my favorite bounty hunter. I love the yellow flight suit and the fact that he is reptilian.

Great Comparison BB. It's hard to believe these awesome figures came out like 12+ years ago. I have a soft spot for the Biker Scout. It was one of my favorite figures growing up. I remember getting the original figure for my birthday back in 1983.

I loved this scout so much as a kid. There was something so cool about seeing this variation of a Storm Trooper, and in the woods as apposed to space. It just really won me over. He was one of my favorite figures, as was the snow trooper.

They must use some kind of petroleum based plastic, any petroleum based products that is right will eventually turn yellow because of the oil. I want a house painter for 20 years and every single time we painted something in white oil pant It will turn yellow within a year or two

What an amazing line of figures, every collector needs these. I know how difficult it is doing a list like this and you did a great job. I'd probably shuffle them around a tiny little bit but like you said it's really only nitpicky stuff that dictates the order.

I think these are better than the new vintage collection. I also collect the original trilogy collection and saga collection that came out before the vintage saga collection and vintage original trilogy collection. 🤙

To be a completist in buying other Bossks I did spend $20 USD for Bossk and IG-88 5PA again in this year's "Digital Release Commemorative Collection" 4-pack for EP V. A pair of these can be added as background Bossk pairs to your favorite Bossk (the VC and VSC ones) representing an army of his race. 😉

I’ve started to find some of these in the shells on eBay for great prices. Greedo came through the post this morning, great figure! But that biker scout just takes me back to being a kid! Awesome card.

Tough list do do Tim Lol, every one a killer fig , the votc trilogy , saga editions are my absolute faves, the precursor to the beloved current vc , the snowtrooper would be my no 1 if I was pushed to pick but these are all sacred in my opinion, I've kept mine outa the light so have had no yellowing luckily, fair play to you for takin this list on Lol

Despite your bias, Bossk I'd the best of the bunch. Hasbro nailed the sculpt with him. However I can't forgive you for placing IG-88 so low! The detail and articulation on Iggy is amazing. Phenomenal figure

I know, I was so close to putting him higher! Was so difficult when you have Snowies and Han Hoth which are two of my faves. Luke X-wing was going to be lower but I just love that classic card back.

Woo hoo! Today I found this version of Bossk in a 2nd hand store that sells older Star Wars figures and collectibles. The outer shell case was slightly damaged, but the card itself inside is still in mint condition, albeit it may have some slight fading given its age. Only paid $15 for it. Agree with your assessment that it’s the best one from this line. So happy to finally have it in my collection....🤗.

Great list. There are a few good ones and it's hard to point to a 1#, I like the Snowtrooper, but IG-88 is nice too, and Bossk... overall, good choices 😁

You're right about font! The current VC font for ROTJ is accurate to the 80s. Having said that, I like the VSC font for ROTJ because as you say it looks thinner and ilI reckon it's sharper! In fact, it marries quite well with TPM and ROTS cards in the VC ☺ Great list man and interesting to hear why you put them in that order. Totally agree on Bespin Luke being back of the pack... but personally, I wouldn't have put George in last place - especially not on the classic card! ! But very good point. It's not an official character! In fact.... that's the one thing I have an issue with that one as well. I wish to god it had a standard Stormie inside! ! 😂😉 Great video 👍👍👍

Being a huge fan of Rodians (obviously), I found the VTSC Greedo to be a bit disappointing. But I gave the VTSC version the dark plastic vest from the Cantina scene pack and repainted his eyes metallic blue, and now he's just about the perfect Greedo figure. O' course, I bought a bunch extra for customs, too. 😉

The tusken needs a elbow update I wished I got the greedo I like that fig I have some of the others you mentioned another decent one that nailed the head was the endor Han Solo ...I never got the Lucas stormie it was always a little too expensive when I did find it

I might swap the Hoth Han for IG-88 in your rankings but otherwise agree with your choices. The Lucas-Trooper still eludes me but I keep looking for one at a decent price.

You were too nice to some of these. Endor Han and Leia are pretty awful looking figures. Doofy Bespin Luke isn't much better. At least we got a good version of that one eventually.
