Hey Amanda - I use the academic planner for work (education events). The first box is for meetings/classes, last box priority tasks and big box either daily reflection, news/decisions, status of projects or unexpected tasks. This is my 2nd year with the EC academic planner. Looking forward to the Star Wars products. It would be amazing if the interior had the Star Wars theme too or maybe that's going overboard?

I personally use the left side of the academic planner day sections to write my classes/lectures and the middle section for homework due, appointments, and regular planning needs. I love the to-do section for writing small tasks that don't have to do with any school stuff. I personally don't really mind how small the weekend boxes are, but everyone has their way of planning!

As a student, I’ve always used the academic planner. On the weekly layout, I use the left box for non-school-related appointments and activities- I also track my mood and stress there. In the right box I do use it for habit tracking, but also for reminders, chores (you can summarize those with 1 word) and things like that. The middle box changes depending on whether I’m in school that season- during school I write new assignments, tests or quizzes that day, and any school stuff. In the summer I use it for anything I feel like- journaling, doodling, etc. This method really works for me, but next year I might try bullet journaling for the fun of it. We’ll see how it goes…

My daughter is a college student and we were looking at these yesterday. Last year she had a simplified daily which she loved and worked well and this year she decided on the Erin Condren Daily. The deal breaker with the academic planner was the weekly layout. Per my daughter, “I don’t understand how a student lives without an hourly.” In addition she too, noted how small the tic box was and she writes pretty small! BTW her second choice this year was the Erin Condren Weekly with the hourly vertical layout, but since she really likes checklists she went for the daily. As for Star Wars, she liked but Hello Kitty won hands down-we’re buying the cover separately.

Ahhh! Thank you fr this video. Im not into stars wars but the covers are so so so cute that I may be ordering some. As for the academic planner, that's what I use for professional school and use it as the first box for due dates (say let's say something is due or presented), the middle to add in what I need to review from my lectures/what sections were covered/what assigns were given that day and I use my to-do list to be things I must do that day before I end my day.

The three lined sections in the academic planners, you can put the class in the first part, the assignment on the longer part, and under the to do put the date it’s due This is why I bought an academic planner from them this year

I remember seeing the first Star Wars in the theater. There had never been any movie like it before. It was absolutely amazing! I have loved Star Wars ever since, and have passed on that love to my boys. I’ve been waiting for this!!! I’m so excited I use the weekly view like this because I’m not a student: The far left is events and foreword planning The middle is a space for my journaling The end is my to-do list I use a page of the notes for more journaling if I need more space. It doesn’t bother me. I also use them for grocery lists, brain dumps, and anything.

After all this time they have yet to bring out a Star Wars dual tip marker color collection. They did it for Hello Kitty. Why not Star Wars? They do have a three pen black set. But why not colors that are in they series? Like a Yoda green, Chewbacca brown, R2D2 silver or blue? C-3PO gold? Colors like that?

So I'm on my laptop in my craft/scrap room (where absolutely ZERO crafts and scrapbooking have taken place in the 8 years we've lived in this house) and my kid is in the living room watching KZbin. I tagged him on EC's FB page and said "maybe this will change your mind about using a planner". I don't figure it will but thought I'd alert him of these Star Wars products anyway. I go in the living room and ask him if he saw that I tagged him. He said yes. I said, "So did it change your mind about using a planner"? He just smiled said "nope". lol yeah, I didn't figure. I've been trying to get him to use a planner since junior high. He wants nothing to do w/it. Clearly, he's no fun at all. ;) For his Junior year at the University of Illinois, he will be vice president of the Star Wars Club (he ran for President but that went to a Senior). He's 20 years old and has been a Star Wars nut since I first rented the VHS tapes for him when he was 8 maybe? I don't remember. And I'm quite certain he will be a Star Wars nut well into his 40s and beyond. ;) I've never been a Star Wars fan (I'm just not much of a sci-fi fan in general) but I have taken my kid to see the movies as they came out during his lifetime. I DO, however, love The Mandolorian. I don't know if I'll be purchasing anything on 7/7 or not. I wouldn't mind Princess Leia and Mandolorian covers. We'll see. Hopefully I have the strength to resist until Black Friday.

LOL...My husband will never use a planner and that's okay with me :) (he uses google cal for work). I love that not even his beloved Star Wars will change his mind! How interesting that you love the Mandolorian and not Star Wars....I guess I need to check the show out:)
