Hi Amanda! I love this video!!! I also fill in my planner for the entire year in one seating! I love seeing it decorate it for the entire year as opposed to doing it month per month. That way when I flip through it I get joy seeing it decorate it with the stickers and how I decided to have it decorate it for that month! I love all your videos! Keep them coming! I like planner Kate kits but I don’t buy a new kit for each week. I buy one kit to use for a whole month (sometimes 2 if there’s a major holiday or something). I get her sampler page, thin washi, pattern boxes and appt boxes for the matching kit and it’s enough to use the whole month including the monthly layout. I put the stickers down usually 1-2 months ahead of time as I buy the stickers and add as things come up. I like being able to use the pretty stickers, not spend to much money and get more time to enjoy the stickers since I don’t do one week at a time.

Enjoyed this. I buy one weekly kit per month. I use the weekly kit to sticker up the whole month at once. I put a few decorative stickers on my daily each day. I don’t plan ahead in my daily. I start with a blank page first thing in the morning. I use a monthly for my budgeting and I use washi and decorative stickers to set up the whole month at a time. It does make using the planners more fun to add some stickers.

I use a PP Vertical in neutral and plan weekly, so each Sunday I pick out one or two washi tapes for the following week, which sets the color theme and then add functional stickers (Planner Kate and Knockout Printshop) as needed for the various appointments or reminders (like trash day or move the car for street sweeping). Sometimes there's a decorative sticker (I do like the EC seasonal ones) but sometimes not. It's a fun art project each week that won't take up too much time.

I use a giant size monthly desk calendar with one page taped to the refrigerator for the family to see. I use the EC binder vertical binder for my weekly set up which I fill out each Sunday. I have been using PP books for my daily which I decorate each evening after dinner. To save some money, I found some EC petite planners on sale which I will use for my daily for the next 6 months. I use some stickers but not kits.

Hi! One suggestion to allow you to keep the 12 boxes starting in July is to use matching washi from the monthly sticker books to cover the box color. Ex. Use the July blue washi to cover the January teal color. Hope that helps!

I sticker the monthly view when I get the book. I use a LOT of stickers in my weekly and daily! I do the dailies 6 weeks ahead and yes, it’s like a surprise when I get to the spread.

@@AmandasFavorites by the way, I canceled the daily duo order and went with a weekly life planner. I had looked at some of my old planners (Passion Planner & Plum Paper) and really missed having that weekly view. Have some health goals that would be better trackable if I could see one week at once. I shade in things I've accomplished and it would be nicee to have that quick visual. I love the spa\ace of the duo but I think I'm going to try this with a dashboard and sticky notes for now. Plus I was able to get that cool metallic moon phases cover! Used your code for this big haul (got a velvet pencil case and sticky note dash board too. Love chatting planners with you!

It’s cool to see what others do. There is no method to my madness. 😂🤣 I use a lot of stickers some weeks and none other weeks. (I mainly use EC themed sticker books like Flora, Layers etc. and Happy Planner stickers). I don’t sticker for the year like you do usually, though I have filled in some with the monthly sticker book in past years on like the monthly page or dashboard. This past year was very different for me, because I decided to get the Daily Duo. I didn’t end up caring for it, but stuck it out. For this next one that starts in July, I went back to the vertical, so now the only thing that will be different for me this year is the color scheme in the Flora. However, those weekly pages are like blank slates, so I’m not stressing about it too much. 🙂

The purple pumpkins are too cute! My work planner I sticker up a month at time. My personal planner I do weekly most of the time. Stickers during holidays and fun holidays like Book Lovers Day or International Coffee Day is always fun. Last year in October, I did Halloween spreads for the whole month and really enjoyed it. I did the same in December for Christmas.

Can I ask why you do an academic calendar instead of January start? Just curious.

Happy to share reasons:) I still homeschool and I am a former public school teacher. So a fresh start at academic time makes sense in my head;) Also when my oldest was still in public school it was nice to write all the school dates for the year at once and not have to write half the year and wait. Also I feel like it is harder to straddle 2 planners in December (a busier time for me) than in June when we switch out of academic. The biggest reason now that I run my channel is that EC comes out with new designs at academic year...and waiting to use them till January would be hard for me. Then mid year when she comes out with new designs again I would still be using the old design for the rest of the year. So for all those reasons it just makes the most sense right now. But I won't lie and say having a new planner in January and having the whole calendar year in one planner has a good feeling to it;) I am lucky because I still get to do that in my content planner from Golden Coil.

There are so many amazing homeschooling planners out there. The only teacher planner review I did this year is the New EC one....but my older teacher planner reviews from Plum paper and a Plan in place are still available and still mostly the same in what they offer...so the reviews should help you. Amazon has many too that look good and are affordable and Target has been carrying a few options when they put out back to school...even the EC planners make it into Target for cheaper;) I personally Love the options Plum Paper offers...even their student planners make a good teacher planner. their colors aren't my fave....but the versatility is amazing. Happy planner has good optins if you want discbound. I love EC because of her colors and paper. If your curriculum does most of the work and you only homeschool one kid like me then a notebook and a google doc chart have been what I use many years;) But I have also used the EC teacher planner off and on mainly bc it's motivating. This year I might use the EC teacher binder bc I can add in any print outs and such of our curriculum and then can save stuff for next year and not re-write charts bc it's a binder. I am going to try to fit in a video about that soon. A plan in place makes custom homeschool planners and I reviewed them a few years ago. I have a teacher/homeschool planner playlist. Hope that all helps some;)

I'm such a big sticker person for the week's that I order the 18 month just to get the larger coil and remove the extra months. I do not deco my monthly page much at all. It's very functional with a good overview if the things for the month like pay days, appointments, birthdays, and such.

I loved watching this one! I use a daily Plum Paper currently and put my plan and stickers in there the morning of the day before typically. Can't wait to start my Daily Duo which already has some holiday and birthday stickers in it. I am not sure how far ahead I will sticker the rest of it because I want my days more functional and my monthly view more decorative I think. I believe it will help keep my costs down as far as planning goes.
