It's really scary to think about the amount of rubbish that gets thrown out and this happens across every country practically every single day, I wander how many people just take this service for granted and even care how much rubbish they produced or even have a thought on the impact of the environment, I wander ???

It’s not scary. It’s beautiful. This is a sign of cleanliness. 2 this has 0 effect on the environment unless you consider landfill fuel a source.

I would have to assume it's because manual labor jobs are woefully underemployed. Nobody wants to do hard work anymore. Everyone wants to be an influencer or an internet star, Everyone is looking for that one second of fame that is goin to get them rich. I just saw something that said Hailey Welch, (hawk Tuah Girl) Has a net worth of something like $12 million. That's crazy. From one 15 second clip that went viral. It just reinforces that all you need is one break to open the door. I work in construction, and nobody wants to do that. It's hard work, the equipment and materials are heavy. You re subjected to all of the weather, good, bad and ugly. I believe that something that is not only hard manual labor, but working in solid waste, collection specifically is not a job that appeals to everyone. So, If A company has a service they are contracted to provide and nobody is walking in the doors to fill open spots, the ones in the field are the ones that get punished and wind up doing 2 person jobs by themselves. We need to reinforce that there is nothing wrong with hard, blue collar, manual labor.
