Only thing I’m not sure about is that 3D printer, in theory it makes sense, however doesn’t it make any kinda factory design using robotic arms and stuff kinda useless? I had liked the idea of making a missle supply factory for instance, now I don’t know if that would work. On the other hand this makes creating a von neumann probe a lot easier =)

Can't wait for access to the game so I can create my own interfaces for all these machines! Especially the 3d printers. It's like the devs know exactly what I want from the yolol scripting ingame! I love that everything gives raw data that can be manipulated and reacted to in code. It gives so many options for automization or custom controls for basically anything in the game! I wouldn't know where to begin with access to all those toys! Let's just say my ship would do a lot of things on its own.

So building is pretty dumbed down. I'm used to Space Engineers, where you actually have to build every block. Requires some ingenuity. It's more engaging than placing down a block that does it all for you

I was hoping this game would require complex factories with robotic arms that stitch ships together. Wouldn't that have been cool? Instead you just place down a block and it builds it for you. Like may as well just have a craft button that makes the whole thing pop into existence

That engine and that physics are UNBELIEVABLE. The number of weapons and materials manufactured in voxels is UNBELIEVABLE. Why allow the project to die? Make a game where the player just plays the battles on the space map! We were 20,000 when the robocraft game started. We’re a thousand people who spent over $500 on crossout. Voxel combine to build games are the future of these games! Sell me the project, I’ll find fanatics on kickstarter to follow me. I will not be able to have less than 5k players with a concept inspired robocraft , crossout and voxel we will make millions. You have less than 300 players, the overall gameplay is a failure... Add a creation lobby as in robocraft. Add a safe house stash on a miniplanet specific to each player as in Escape from Tarkov. Add a menu to launch TDM and domination mod and a market place to buy part to build. Add wheels, tracks and rotor. And the game will rise from the ashes. Forget the open world, the MMO voxel is not ready yet...

Im not gonna lie, i am NOT liking the sound of future teleportation between stations.. The entire scale of space is lost if you allow fast travel in games. I thought this game was going to be about considering the stuff you bring with you, the risks vs reward of making a trek. If you just allow teleportation, you lose all that tension and sense of journey. It might as well be Unreal Tournament. Elite Dangerous already wrecked their sense of scale by the teleport feature into buddies ships. Dont make the same mistake.

Don’t worry, there won’t be any true instant teleportation (besides the insurance transfer now which will be removed) - the warp gates still take time to go through, and need to be set up by someone who is willing to go that distance and construct it at the destination. There still will be treks, it’ll just make going from one place to another a bit more streamlined.

its just exaggerated to expect to have desirable numbers of people playing, while having basic things like travel, to take a seriously big amount of time. if they try to balance things by for example not allowing any item teletransportation, perhaps they can get to a nice gameplay friendly balanced point

Pretty much everyone can become a tester with dedication, and they treat all the players/non players equally. Have you even had any conversations with the devs? They’re the nicest development team I’ve seen for any game so far and they are completely open, honest, and amazingly polite towards the playerbase. No idea if you’re trolling, but if you aren’t you are seriously getting the wrong idea about the devs.
