Hi, First of all, great work from you and thank you for your time. I drive one. 23i E89 from 2011 and yesterday my roof still worked for me and not today... I had it read out with iCarly and get an error message A68D Hall sensor: { Hall sensor ABGEL (HS5) top filed / Hall sensor VSW3 / Error on Hall sensor wind run locked / Hall sensor VSW3.2 tension bar set up / Hall sensor VSW2.5 / Hall sensor VSW2.4 / Hall sensor VSW2.3 / Error on the Hallsenôr clamping lug in storage position / Hall sensor VSW2.2 } It feels like all the hall sensors haha. How can I best proceed here, especially since my roof is down, my windows are up, and actually everything was locked, but my BC shows the error message, roof movement is impaired/roof is not locked. There is a micro switch for each side. One went bad. To access it we need the roof up. So we just jumped the signal as the customer was in a hurry. The ideal thing would be to replace it. Be very careful with that. You could short the module.

There are two micro switches, one for each side which tell the module if the roof is closed or open. If one goes bad this won't work. We bypassed the bad one's signal through the one that's working since the customer was in a hurry. The ideal thing here would be to replace the bad switch.

@@starbodyworksindia fair enough I have purchased both switches left and right. Is it difficult to replace them? And after replacing them would I need to reset anything? Thank you

You don't need to reset anything. Replacing the switch is easy. The harder part is getting access to it.
