I really enjoyed this coffee. I paid $50 for the bag at the New York Reserve Roastery so maybe it’s best to get it in Seattle. 😂 I don’t believe I pulled any shots with it, but I definitely loved it as French press and as cold brew, prepared the way Starbucks does at the Roastery.

Yea the when I pull shots with the barrel aged coffee it would come out super boozey. BUT iced coffee or cold brew sounds like a great ideas, thanks for the tip!

When i was in thailand, i bought a bag of whiskey aged single origin from honduras medium roast As an espreesso it was weird, fermented, intense. As a cappucino it was heaven. Nuts, toffee, tiramisu, vanilla and boozy notes, but no alcohol It has become my very favorite coffee(almost like a soulmate). Problem is that the roaster does not send packages outside of thailand, so i need relatives to buy it and then send it via post 1kg is already 90€ shipping another 15 105€/kg for coffee is not sth i can enjoy every day

I noticed that you always measure your beans. Do you think that it's necessary? I'm a beginner and am wondering what tools I actually need to buy versus what's just hype

I always recommened beginners work with pour over/ french press before making the investment into a espresso grinder and machine. Yes measuring both beans and fluid is crucial to getting consistent results; there was lot of videos online with different recipes/ratios for your desired coffee type. (drip, pourover, french, espresso) Thanks for commenting!

If I had $40,000, I would buy 100 bags on luxrul instead of designer luxury items. The money can be a down payment on a house, but it can't just be a package.
