Are you excited to try Starbucks' vegan breakfast sandwiches?
@sue2334 жыл бұрын
It’s not vegan!!!! It’s served with egg and cheese and cannot be offered vegan because the sandwich comes pre-made, and is just heated up when ordered. (And the bread it’s served with is not even vegan...).

I will be exited when they launch an actual vegan sandwich. However, I will pass on this one since it’s not vegan. And asking them to remove the egg and cheese is a complete waste as it still contributes to animal exploitation.

@@sue233 wow - that's pathetic if the sandwich is not even going to be vegan. Even the bread isn't vegan??? Starbucks also charges extra for non-dairy milk - it's one of the most anti-vegan food chains remaining.. hope it gets its shit together soon

@@perkarmblad absolutely. If u buy animal cruelty products, even if you don't consume them you have contributed to more animal cruelty - they will just throw out the egg and cheese but it's just as bad as if u had consumed them bc u just paid for them.

Starbucks is actually behind the times. In December I traveled for Christmas and had a vegan sandwich at dunk n donuts and in February I traveled and happened to visit Starbucks at the airport and they did not have the vegan sandwich. Which I was surprised because the sign had a vegan sandwich on the wall and they have other vegan items. However, Starbucks would not be my first choice for anything. Their prices are ridiculous and they are not willing to customize anything for you. So they lost my business. The staff is rude any ways.
@sue2334 жыл бұрын
The Starbucks sandwich is not vegan and cannot be served vegan since it arrives to every location pre-made and the bread is not vegan. While it’s a step in the right direction, it is a vegetarian option and not in any way vegan.

However, the strawberry overnight grains parfait is AMAZING!! That is vegan, and I think it has like 6g protein too. Also, most drinks can be made vegan, as all locations offer coconut, almond, and soy milks (my go-to is an iced coconut milk latte!) All the syrups are vegan, so that means just about anything except the heavy sauces (ie white mocha) but in my humble opinion, those are way too sweet anyway. Hope that helps 😊

I will not be trying the plant based sandwiches at Starbucks because they aren't plant based with egg and cheese. The company lacks resolve and creativity. The breakfast sandwich copied McDonald's in the first place. And a breakfast sandwich that replicates animal based is not really something healthy to eat, just comparably and marginally healthier, and animal free is always best. This kind of thing proves our weaknesses and addictions. Vegans need to be pushing as much whole food as possible: a breakfast BOWL would be WAY better!

marcus24000 or too, do enough individuals realize just that it’s actually just logistically simple though to just think about what logistical things could be applied in order that bad trends be diverted to be just normalcy being maintained in doing life-sustaining/life-supporting/life-optimizing things.
@quantumgoverned68524 жыл бұрын
marcus24000 as well, can the importance of the presence of life and species be identified by people so that the motivation is Scientifically understood in terms of : why should extinction be wanted to be prevented.
@quantumgoverned68524 жыл бұрын
marcus24000 though yeah: it’s 100% within the power of people to be just understanding the circumstance and to be applying actions that are supportive towards what is the most important thing that needs to be being done. Making enough vegan foods for animals? Is that a logistical thing that can be accomplished? As well making enough vegan foods for people too. (?) I think it’s possible. Though each species digestive tracts can only handle specific plant matter materials, is my genuine understanding, so Science needs to identify the safe vegan foods for each species, is my just my logical understanding. As well, ensuring that plant life is being propagated and that is something that is within the power of people too. Though certainly technological development can be assisting with processes such as producing adequate amounts of specific vegan foods and in terms of watering systems for plant life included. Though I agree: caring is something that is in question: do individuals care? Probably, though the lack of caring has probably been due to toxicity in individuals’ systems: though with safe products that aren’t toxic and safe vegan diet, toxicity can clear from all systems & caring is inevitable. Is my genuine knowing.
@quantumgoverned68524 жыл бұрын
marcus24000 though yeah too: time is ticking and action is necessary in terms of what can be done to be allowing animals and people to be having the vegan foods that they need and can more botany and horticulture and all that Plant Science be being applied to all of the spaces as where that’s technologically biologically required, too, is a question.

LiveKindly promotes the killing of animals...again. Vegetarians kill animals. Every time you mention vegetarianism in a positive light, you are promoting the use and killing of animals. In the end of the video, you state that you are a "vegan news" channel. LiveKindly videos are generally excellent, and important in the vegan community, but only when you stop promoting vegetarianism will you then be a vegan news channel. Are you afraid of being 'too radical?' If you were a social worker, would you tell a spousal abuser to please just reduce hitting your spouse sometimes because you are afraid of sounding 'too radical' by asking for the violence to completely stop? No. You would ask for, you would demand, that all violence stop. The sole reason why people don't ask for a complete end of the violence against animals is their own speciesism. Vegans do not promote using/killing animals, which means we never, ever promote vegetarianism who are almost identical to animal cadaver eaters. *Vegetarians and animal eaters are IDENTICAL in these ways:* Pays money to kill chickens after they stop producing eggs Pays money to kill cows when they stop producing milk Pays money to kill male chicks on their first day of life Lifestyle based on speciesism (animal discrimination) Pays money into system that kills veal (male) calves Pays money to take baby cows from their mothers Unethical lifestyle that causes animals to be used Pays money to have farmed animals enslaved Eats stolen dairy food made for baby calves Pays money to forcibly impregnate animals Eats eggs from genetically manipulated chickens Ok with philosophy to pay for animal entertainment Ok with philosophy to pay for animal-sourced clothing Ok with philosophy to pay for animal experiment products *Vegetarians and animal eaters are DIFFERENT in this one way:* Consumes animal cadaver parts directly. These observations about vegetarianism are in no way an impugnment against prior vegetarians who are now vegans. What matters is that someone is vegan now; we cannot change the past. These observations are only to show that the conflation of veganism and vegetarianism harms animals, and is not in accord with the principles of veganism. #LiveVegan

Are you guys sure that veganism is safe? At least long term??
@farginargle4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sauce! Yes my man, proven beyond a doubt. Specifically long term, we are talking not just increased longevity but superior health across the board. You can begin to do some research into it but I can help a bit. It is fun to look into veganism throughout human history, around the world. You can quickly study the human anatomy or google human anthropological development, to see pretty easily how, although we have eaten meat, we are biologically herbivorous. The catalogue of fully nutritive plant foods that we humans should be eating is vast, it is just that our lens is focused away from them: meat based foods are so prevalent and constantly promoted and pushed like it is nothing in our culture. People used to accept that it was healthier to be at least vegetarian, but since the rise of veganism there has been a great deal of denial and pushback. You are going to love the movie The Game Changers, produced by Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Doctors are a bit tricky: some have said they do not promote a plant based diet to their patients for the sad reason that they do not believe the patients will follow it. Kaiser Permanente, my insurance company for decades, promotes a plant based diet. Simply put, animals are the middle man. All the nutrition comes from plants. Thanks!
