That flying Sauron Zerg strat in game 1 was amazing. Keeping all of his mutas back while Scan made 10+ turrets that sat around until True could fly in with overwhelming numbers with flying armor was a great use of tactics against a player known for making so many turrets while building up to Valkyries.

One of my favourite strats from SC2 was the rarely seen double spire for air upgrades whilst going broodlords. The first game gave me the brood war equivalent, 30+ 2/1 mutas from 4 bases at 5 minutes. I can only hope this strategy gains more traction in the future.

Loving your casts of BroodWar! I'm new to RTS in general but it's really cool to watch, with that being said, how do they get 300~APM with only workers? Do they choose manually which mineral each worker is going for? Sorry for asking if that's something basic :)

Incredible thinking from TRUE on that first game, Scan usually beats most zerg with very good timing and placement on turrets while building up to Valks. TRUE choose to macro up with 4 hatch while using a small group of mutas to harass Scan and force him to turtle with missile turrets while he worked on his economy, then he moved on to lurkers which Scan couldn't attack if he had gone for valks and didnt have enough vessels or tanks to stop. Gonna keep my eye on TRUE from now on.

is the 4th gathering base even worth the risk? don't think the 3 gathering bases were fully saturated with sub 30 worker count and gas priod. Easier to just plop it at home or sim city. Still a baller move pulling it off though.

Very stupid macro game from Scan in the 1st game. At least 2-3 Valks would change the game and would get these Mutas bruised, 5-6 would exterminate them all (like it was in the final CNSL match vs Zelot). Scan had sufficient time to get these Valks, but preferred to build these stupid flying eggs.

SPOILER ALERT: did that 4th base really pay off? he was constantly floating 350+ gas and the other 3 bases were not where near saturated. doesn't feel like the benefits even kicked it. He probably could have done it with 3 bases and way less risk.
