StarCraft 2: CANNON RUSHING A TERRAN?! (Florencio)

Florencio is back with a crazy game of StarCraft 2. In this Master League match of Terran versus Protoss we start with a Cannon Rush but quickly gets into one of the strangest games of SC2 that I've ever seen... With lots of cringy moments and terrible decisions added in the mix.

@@DakkaMoreDAKKA Na that's the point, Florencio doesn't seem to have the most on point micro, but he throws enough curve balls that his opponent gets a dozen things on their mind and they forget to do basic shit, or like the Terran did with his Vikings, sending them to Florencio's base but forgetting to swap them into their ground form.

Well cannon rush sometimes can defeat sbd in 3rd minute in a game or slow enemy down. This is best protoss tactic that i will always hate.

That part where the ghosts were trying to get an EMP off on the High Templar was genius on Florencio's part. He knew what was coming and split off 3 High Templar to bait it out so the Terran would stim forward thinking he had an advantage. Truly amazing.

flo's opening cannon rush on terran is actually really clever if he gets the contain. if he can make them turtle up he blocks cc floats to the 3rd with stalkers, and just forces his opponent to go broke while they try to break out into their natural that he's FILLED with photons and shield batteries, supported by tempests, oracles, and voids. it's poetry in motion when he times it right

Most people who unironically say they think they are better don't realise how huge a difference having complete map vision is. I'd bet that even someone in low gold could probably win against masters if they had total map vision, it's such a big advantage. So when you see someone do something "stupid" in one of these videos, it's hard to remember that, from their pov, they can't see the huge army seconds from entering their base from the other side when they move out. That and while watching your videos we have you, Lowko, telling us your opinion on the plays and whether or not it's a good idea, which means we get to hear the ideas of someone who's been casting games at all levels for literal years. I bet I'd do real well if I had a little Lowko sitting on my shoulder in ladder games, that's for sure.

Lowko, lore behind the warp structures of the Protoss, is that these units are born/constructed on Shakuras/Aiur or somewhere else and these structures only warp them onto the battlefield. And zealots don’t really die on death, they teleport away on death and get an immortal shell

@ 21:33 based on the movement of Yalta's troops I think he thought Dexter was retaking the main. His troops were in formation as though they were heading for the old main. But the moment Dexter's drones reached Yalta's base. Yalta's forces lost formation and started dropping down. I think Dexter planned that so his new base wouldn't be discovered.

You know, you keep saying Florencio is only doing well because of misplays from his opponent, but I think it's his ridiculous plays and strategies that throw his opponents off and bring out more misplays than they usually make. I'm in Silver 3 with Zerg and see all this crazy stuff. If they invest in a bunch in cannons and you don't see it in time you can just rush their base with your drones leaving 1 or 2 to produce more drones

Reminds me of a game a Protoss player tried against me a few days ago and he too took one of the bases in the corner after I punished his mainbase for it and just refused to give up before I plastered the map with sensor towers leaving him no room to hide anymore. I wonder now if I might have encountered Florencio under one of his many names? But more likely it was just someone playing similar to him. Anyway, canon rush Protoss are such a free-win as terran I wonder how this terran could lose so helplessly.

One thing I figured out is that the sheild battery doesnt heal pylons, I take out the pylons first so that the sheild battery cant heal anything else. I find it to be a very useful strategy (in some cases).

I was too competetive for my own good got hardstuck in masters 3 and eventually dropped down in ranks. I just could not stand being bad at this game wich is why i dont really play it anymore. My understanding of Protos biology (never actually played or read SC, just what various fanfics agree on), Protos are like plants. They just need water and sunlight to survive. They construct their stuff and warp them to wherever needs them. The Zealots and Immortals are biologically based (Zealots being just Protos with laser blades and Immortals being mec-suits for paraplegic Protos). no idea about the air units, but I'm fairly sure that the carrier and mothership have live Protos onboard... Colossi are AI controlled robots

The thing about versus sc2, is that you basiclly have to get lucky when placing the first five matches to get a good rank, after that, its really hard to be promoted or demoted. I am a platinum in protoss, yet im so much better at zerg, yet im only silver zerg
