@@sleezie100 the game is good, the development team I have never heard anything bad about, the publisher tho... Funnily enough starcraft 2 is an rts game with microtransactions (warchests and commanders for duo), meanwhile warcraft 3 reforged was cut into absurd shittiness because they didn't have any idea for microtransactions and post-buy monetisation. Also PLAYER--MADE CONTENT!!! there are so many maps, modes, campaigns, hell even a multiplayer rpg

Bruh not saturating mineral line is clearly a 1000IQ move because that means his main doesn't run out of minerals as quickly - especially with opponent terran using mules. It's like the 5th lesson of science school!

That second game was delicious, first the hallucinated Void then the stasis on those stimming marines - amazing. When I saw the oracle putting down the stasis I was really wondering if it would see action, but oh my did it pay off.
@erikkarlsson91923 жыл бұрын
lol that second Terran 17:49 "Why don't you play vs AI" should apply more to him than Florencio though. Florencio's builds is only really fun against other players, the Terran could however play standard stuff against AI if he wants a normal game and it'll work fine.

I am really happy that you showed the pylon-trick. I have never seen that and it is 300 IQ. I assume this works on every map?
@WindsorMason3 жыл бұрын
Any time the pathing is blocked off a unit will walk straight towards the target instead of trying to walk along the path that would be there if it wasn't blocked. This fact means that when a Terran (or anyone, really) blocks off their ramp your units will walk towards the wall near the main instead going into the natural and trying to go up the ramp... And you'll know it's blocked even if you've never seen the buildings on the ramp. :D
@samba2723 жыл бұрын
@@WindsorMason Yeah, the question is if your walking direction would lead to a dead space in the main where there wouldn't be any buildings usually. And I often wondered about the maphack-ability of pathing.
@WindsorMason3 жыл бұрын
@@samba272 in terms of gaining information without risking your units, usually the information gained from actually seeing what's on the ramp and the short time needed to check outweighs everything else. There's also the case where you can block off one path on the map to try and hide something by redirecting movement, occasionally you see it in some especially sneaky mind game matches! But this requires really understanding your opponent's behavior and knowing that they wouldn't set any movement waypoints next to/in front of your blockade, completely countering the sneaky attempt. Ahah. (This is also why if you're sending stuff across the map, queue instructions to go to each step of the way, rather than just a moving a single instruction towards the top of a ramp.)
@blazethefaith3 жыл бұрын
@@WindsorMason Obviously it's an inbuilt mechanic at this point, but do you think that's something that should be in the game? I've always thought it was weird that my units can see through the fog of war in a way, like pathing should have been based on the players visibility, not an observer's visibility.
@WindsorMason3 жыл бұрын
@@blazethefaith it definitely is weird when you think about it like this, but the information that can be gained from it is usually minimal so it takes a lot effort and lots of things going right for it to be exploitable in any way, and if it wasn't there I think we'd have a much more difficult (and potentially laggy) time controlling units (think sc1 dragoons, but your whole army. :P)
