Hi Lowko, I just wanted to share something with you that I appreciate greatly, the degree to which you talk about why some plays/units/buildings/upgrade routes/unit *composition* is phenomenal. As someone who has never played SC it is **really** enjoyable for me to be able to (with minor wiki research) be able to have an excellent understanding of the game flow and potential rationale behind the player's decision makes watching your casts an absolute pleasure. As someone who has way too many hours in a game like DOTA I know how easily it is to just 'assume' everyone else 'knows' what's going on, and thus not discuss certain information. So let me just as a person ignorant about all things starcraft I've started watching your casts about 4 weeks ago and I am astounded by how much I've "learned" about a game I never intend to play as a result of your insight and commentary. Thank you very much and keep up the good work my man :)!

As a former SC player who never really got into SC2 enough to know all of the nuance back when it came out, I love this comment. I feel exactly the same way. From learning the basics of what's going on, all the way to the high level strategy of top players, Lowko's casts are simply the best.

I started sc2 when I graduated from college and could afford a PC back in 2010. Me and my friends took some long breaks here and there for grad school and some weddings, but 2020 is the year some of us came back. The nostalgia is strong but the game is more fun than we remember.

Hey Lowko, don't know if you will see this but thank you. I started with SC1 in 2012 when I was 8. Now I am 16, completely consumed by Starcraft 2 and all it provides. When I was about to give up in the first year I tried SC2 (i know, shameful), I found your content on youtube. It was fun, positive, and restored my confidence to keep trying in SC2 no matter how much I lost. I am now Dia 3 EU and Plat 1 Asia, all campaigns played on Hard and Brutal, and all coop commanders max level. Thank you for keeping my passion ablaze. This game changed my life!

Hi Lowko. First of all I want to thank you for your amazing videos that I really appreciate. I'm from Italy and I played mostly early HOTS and WOL starcraft II. I remember the first time I saw reynor at the Vasacast Invitational (a starcraft II tournament held in Italy thanks to the great effort of a team of italian caster: Vasacast). He was introduced as the brother of Evaneer, a zerg italian proplayer (which sadly I don't see right now very often in top level matches) and, at that time, was a Master league 15 years old zerg player. His play style was really sick, considering the fact that he was barely a child, especially with zergling harrasments which was arleady one of his strongest moves! Seeing him now in the top 10 world starcraft II makes me really proud of him. Starcraft II is not only South Corea or USA and Reynor proved that to everyone in the community. Go reynor go!!

Happy Birthday StarCraft 2! I still remember the first time I seen the very early stages promotion video of StarCraft. It was Protoss I think, but everything looked a lot different from now. I remember seeing the colossi the first time, and felt that it is much bigger than the one we have today. The laser beam wasn’t even crossed but it’s continues, or it just moves very slow. Anyway, I hope StarCraft 2 can live another 10 more years!

I have a big brain strat here for zerg. I tested it and it worked like a charm. Go banes + burrow before the enemy gets his third. Burrow 4/5 banes in his 3rd and 4th mineral line. When its about fully saturated, BOOM!

Hard to believe it’s been ten years. I still remember the release/trailer like it was yesterday. The reaction of the crowd after hearing nuclear launch detected gave me goosebumps lol

Holy shit what a good game of Starcraft 2! I love how both players approached this game, it was so back and forth I didn't know who was ahead until the near end there. Really like Clem's positioning though, I feel like he applied steady pressure which added up constantly and prevented the creep from going out of control, and you can see Reynor could barely attempt to counter attack since Clem's army was always there on his front door, even if he commited a small amount of zerglings or banelings there would be units in position for Clem or there would be a planetary, the baneling drops were denied really well as well. It took him a while to make a mistake but I think Clem could have loss this game if he loss an entire army, which he kinda did but he held on, if he losses an entire army, the zerg will overpower him with faster reinforcements, fortunately when he made that mistake he had a bank and zerg didn't, but it took his entire bank hold on for his life as well. Reynor also played as well but with a composition such as Lurker ling bane I think there isn't much freedom and mobility for the zerg to win against Terran playing close to perfect like that. Either way GG and Happy Birthday to Starcraft 2, thanks for casting this beautiful game man.

Back in 2010, I pre-ordered the game like 24-hours before release hoping it would get delivered on launch day. Fast forward to release, no mail. So I just decided to buy it digitally. BUT then the package showed up like 10 minutes later. That WOL box is still unopened.
