You should start differentiate between rapid and blitz rating. Around the 1000 level the rapid rating is inflated by roughly 400 points(based on studies), so guessing 1000 elo without knowing if its rapid or blitz is just impossible. F.eks in game 3,4 and 5 in your last GTE episode the rapid ratings were between 900-1350, while their blitz ratings were raging between 250 and 700. The rapid rating is completely broken, which is why you are often guessing too low elo on most of the rapid games, while too high in blitz games.
