My playthrough of Heart of the Swarm, commented this time and in 1080p. I do my best to either get all the achievements or explain how to get them on a lower difficulty.

I feel that Warfield should be smarter than this... Destroy the Scourge nests! Send Gorgons with lots of Wraiths or something... Send them less often, and don't just head straight for the Zerg base without any stop. Perhaps a better design for this mission would be that at least a couple Scourge Nests are required to wipe out a Gorgon Battlecruiser, and Warfield sends out far less of the Gorgons. Or maybe Scourge Nests should just be less frequent, and Gorgons less frequent, and the Terrans attempt to Nuke the nests. Oh wait, I just realized that the Terrans in the mission already do try to disable the nests. I completely forgot. I probably sound too harsh now.

It makes sense, but they only realize that at the end when we alerady used most of the nests.

Thanks for a terrific Video! I've found the SOUND, I got sound again. But the Gorgon destroyed me because I didn't have a clue of what they had meant. I better learn to get back in the habit of spreading Creep, ha-ha! Good Luck.

dude im just gonna tell you now, banlings really help, they really really help, trust, this is why i always got swarmling adaption so that i could build a ton of zerglings and turn them into banlings and still have zerglings to mass up

One thing that I don't get is why didn't Kerrigan just have Abathur assimilate the scourge nest biomass back into the swarm which means that she can spawn scourges and corrupters at her hatcheries/lairs/hives. Maybe there's something that I don't know so sorry if I'm just being dumb.

That's probably because the campaign was (at least somewhat) rushed in comparison to the Wings of Liberty campaign. Corruptors, or at least Scourge seeing as they're in a mission, could've been units that the player can spawn and even mutate/evolve, but unfortunately they're not. It would've been nifty to see what kind of mutations or evolutions Scourge and Corruptors could have. Dustin Browder has said that there is little use for air-to-air units in the campaign, but I reckon there could've been if some of the missions were redesigned slightly, or if there were a couple more missions which focused on air units. I think it would've been interesting to see Corruptors come back with their original ability to transform destroyed enemy aircraft into turrets for the Zerg, or an evolution that allows them to land on the ground and move that way (which was one of their first concepts).

Sam Ross the answer in lore is that the scourges are a really old strain and can not be assimilated (they also have banelings so they kinda didn't care as they were evolved scourges)

What do you people think of the follow up of this mission from WOL. Should it be more or ever more? Like retake the platform/drain the nydus networks and this mission carries on to the next mission. Besides that you fight more ground/air units depend on what you did in WOL?

No, only if you passed through Kaldir and/or Zerus before you get to Char they put more diverse units against you.

Why there are fewer units you get in HOTS than WOL? and where are the upgrades for zerg structures?

IMO they simplified all of this, just as we don't encounter any cloaked unit in the campaign.

The longer you wait the longer until the next one spawns, so you give yourself more time

It's actually angering how stupid they made Warfield. Blizzard stopped trying to be clever halfway through this game, and completely dropped the ball in Legacy of the Void. I was so disappointed in the story and execution... after that many years in coming. I doubt I will ever buy any more Blizzard games.

So one scourge nest is enough to kill a Gorgon, but the entire swarm isn't ? Why can't you assimilate the essence of the Scourge to make them yourself ? And mostly, why is Warfield, supposed to be the best Military General of the Dominion, so bad at fighting the Zerg ? May it be in WoL or here, he just sounds dumb. And it's really a shame seeing how good his character could've been with his death cinematic.
