Here's my guess. The Terran is going to be technically and strategically better, the Zerg is going to lose its army, maybe even a couple of bases several times and win. The pro-league has Terran players quitting due to RSI while you just lazily click around a deathball for the other races.

Zerg legitimately OP !! I have been seeing this a couple of times now, the Terran player playing beautifully and then getting fucked over by Zerg in the late game. The spell casters Zerg has eats through whatever Terran throws at them. Blizzard should buff Terran air units for area damage and anti air damage.

This game clearly show that Terran late game is weaker than the Protoss and Zerg. With the absent of a mass dealling spell like parasite bomb, storm or fungel it is much harder to counter late game mass units. Also no real air to air counter, good luck countering with viking corruptors and vipers.

Nice to see TYTY try to use Thors, but they're still bad, and this game sadly shows it. The Ghosts weren't really getting anything done either, though at least they managed some zoning; the Thors didn't even manage that much.

1 Siege tank zoning > Thor Couple of cost efficient hellions/firebats > Thor It costs so much but does so little. I guess the only thing it's good for is light-tanking, but it's lategame and brood lords are a thing. Think they need to change that up a bit.

Okay I gotta say as someone who's basically never really played Starcraft (have an odd couple games in SCII but just a wee bit campaign really, was more of a CnC guy back in the time) so my only impressions on SCII gameplay come from this channel (which is very enjoyable by the way, I basically absorb every game cast in here and been doing that for months) but even I can see how amazing this match was. This was absolutely thrilling to watch aswell as experience Lowko's more than enthusiastic reactions throughout the game. 10/10, would watch instead of playing the game again. Also, I just realized I never subscribed ... guess I'm still too analogue with me manually checking my various interest channels. Anyway, just rectified that so you get something out of it too. I see it's super hard for Terran to fight against late game Zerg. Maybe Raven missile should deal damage once again? Terran really doesn't have any "set and forget" damaging spell. No Psi Storm, no Fungal Growth, no Parasitic Bomb... Just my observation. I could be super wrong.

Close to the end Dark actually can flood the floor with zerglings to sweep anything on the ground, properly keep 3 multilisk at the corner in case of flying buildings. Dark just has in sane resources at the end.

Honestly, while I don't play the game myself (outside of a bit of campaign), what exactly can a Terran even do against these Units? It seemed to me like Vipers and other Spellcasters are just absolutely wrecking everything a Terran has and the Terran has no chance to do anything against it. Is there any game out there where a Zerg build this Units composition and the Terran actually won?

Hmm, lately this has been a trend. If the zerg does not get smashed early-mid game, in late game it just can't be stopped. Talking about most games that are casted on this channel, where zerg goes heavy spell caster: viper + infestor combos. Take this game for example: what unit composition could TY do to efficiently counter Dark? Usually the game is about strategy and counter strategy, but feels a bit like pro games with zerg late game are one sided. I don;t really see a viable counter to that army composition (maybe split pushing/ base racing) Even then it is one sided. Any thoughts Lowko?

Clumping up all Ghosts and Vikings several times, and them getting picked off easily cost him the game. It’s not so much to do with balance, but with unit control.

there's no counter. zerg spells hard counters literally every unit terran has. the only way for terran to win is to not let the game get to that point or to base race and win.

i heard all of his words. i even understood most of them. i just started to explore pvp aspect of game. i thought my ability to do campaign would be helpful like having a bag of ammo for a gunfight. turns out i have a bag, and there is even ammo. but most of it isnt for many of the guns im using. on top of all that my pause button doesnt work anymore. im not complaining, just trying to express my surprise. who doesnt like surprises?!?!?.LOL i do enjoy watching these though. it really shows that i have so much to learn. im just now learning hotkeys etc. i always dragged and clicked, except to control groups.

I know this is random, but to shake things up a bit, it would be nice to see Blizzard allow for hybridization of the different groups. So say you start off with Zerg but then have the option to hybridize with human or Protoss. Make the cost to do such be equivalent to maybe half of a mothership or something. And then of course the hybrids would have strengths and weaknesses dependent upon the two groups. Ultimately maybe even allow a Xel'naga hybrid with all three groups hybridized.
