They are non english native speakers. Same as me. There is people who speaks their mother language. Then they speak a second one, usually yours, say 98 % accurately. Makes us laugh when some lazy "only one language speaker" complains about this 1 or 2 % of error. It's an ignorant thing to do. Learn a second language to the level Lowko has achieved. Then complain. BTW only english has such an unstable way of pronouncing their vowels. Rest of european languages tend to be much more predictable in that regard. I litterally couldn't understand how Dean and Sean can be pronounced so differently and be written the same. Think about it.

I'm sorry if anyone has insulted you in the past for not pronouncing things as well as a native English speaker would. Making fun of someone's accent can certainly be used as a tool for racism or xenophobia. However, try not to take offense at every occasion, because English speakers just love to poke fun at other English speakers' pronunciations, even with no malintent. For example, US English speakers love making jokes about British accents, Canadian accents, Australian accents, and even different regions of the US itself, like New Jersey accents, Southern accents, and California accents. It's practically a cultural pastime to point out and play with different English accents, and unfortunately that also includes the accents of people who are not native speakers. I'm sure there were no hard feelings intended in the original comment, just an attempt to have some fun.

Dark had an amazing series vs Clem recently and actually managed to take him apart. His approach was more aggressive than I've seen european zergs yet and it forced Clem into a more defensive position that he was obviously not comfortable playing

Target firing banelings and preventing any from connecting is the most satisfying feeling in the game. It’s crazy how op mmm is vs a baneless Zerg. You can do an insane timing with 3rax, stim, combat shields, concussive shell and 1/1. Times out very well vs Zerg.

When I think of a classic SC match I'm thinking a mass of zerg overtaking a planet and a massive warp-in from protoss as an epic clash of Good vs. Evil. Then Terran is just sitting on some other planet being all plain and boring. They are both so skilled its entirely possible they could do it and the match wouldn't look perfect but still a decent match. What would give it away though would be the fake Clem not splitting marines as godly as he does, or not as good reaper control. But in either case, you could easily be convinced it was just a bad day :D

LiquidClem's real name is Clément which is pronounced "Clay-mah" in french. Clem, without the accent aigu it's pronounced "Clam" in french. Italian pronounciation of Clem is also "Clam". In english there is little difference between the prouninciation of Clem and Clam. And with clams being a seacreature people would assume it is written as the latter. Dutch pronounce Clem the same way as the english, french and italians. But Clam is pronounced "Clah-mm". Lowko and Harstem use a strange in-between pronounciation which makes it sound like the english wourld write "Clum". The dutch word for clam is mossel, which is unrelated. :)

Wow, I can't believe hellions are that cheap I thought they would cost more then 100 minerals... I only played sc2 when it first came out. Wasn't a big fan of it. I thought the reaper rush was really lame. I was use to SC1 where there was no starting units that could fly over walls and kill your mineral line in secs. Everyone was doing that at first. They made the game more balanced since then and the expansion really helped this game alot.

I'm starting to feel like Zerg is also lacking ways to counter an extremely well microed Terran. Early game Terran is rather protected, mid game they have more upgrades, and late game ghosts counter pretty much every Zerg unit in the game. This of course requires *insane* micro skills, but done well enough I really can't see what Zerg players, Reynor in this game for example, could do to win. Especially the marines don't seem to die with perfect stims, splits and enough medvacs. Once again, hats off to Clem, but it does feel like even if Reynor played a perfect game he might still have lost.

I think this is why most top tier zergs goes for the macro economy game rather than going tow to tow with their micro as shown by one of the best zerg which is Serral.

The more pro matches I watch the more I dislike watching ghosts destroy every zerg unit. I'm also an absolute scrub so I won't call imbalance or anything. I would imagine however that if there was an effective counter to ghosts as zerg we would be seeing it in these matches. Aside from running mass zerglings not to fight them but to fight wherever they aren't I don't see anything else being used.

I'm not an expert on this at all, and don't want to pretend that I know better than Reynor, but I'm starting to think that Reynor may be producing too many drones in the midgame. I normally love players who produce things like 90/100 drones, but it feels like he's trying to have an overwhelming economy, harass, and play perfect defense at the same time. Its really impressive to watch, but I feel like his lack of army size really hurts him when he tries to defend his bases, he just trades so inefficiently when trying it. His extra mining is supposed to help him make that ok, but I'm not sure its been worth it when he's playing against micro gods like Clem and Maru, who can absolutely take advantage of the fact that his army is a bit smaller than most zergs during the midgame.

We are talking about like 2-3 terrans who can reach that skill level... Clem, Maru, idk who else... It also depends on the player's mindset in a particular day. Sometimes one is just in better shape than his opponent. This is the first time i've seen such a perfect reaper micro in the early game. Outstanding. Even superior to byun's average reaper plays on his prime days, i dare to say (not better than his very best ones tho). In the last GSL code S Rogue looked impossible to defeat. In the following GSL ST he was defeated by Zoun if i recall correctly. Someone will eventually reach an even better defense strategy. Pushing the limits, as usual of this game. My 2 cents.
