I couldn't past more than medium as I always play campaigns and started playing with ai only to get used before touching ladder. Somehow after abusing liberator until elite and got to play team ladders, I finally could beat elite again with proper game (I overcome the macros)

Fwiffo here (Game 2) 😊 much love Lowko! ❤️ I got to Plat concentrating on macro only (ViBE's B2GM) but that means I freak the eff out at anything other than a macro game 🤣 so I've been trying Lowko's 12 pool against stupid stuff strat and hey, it was messy as fcuk but it worked 🤩 For anyone thinking they suck at SC2 and are thinking of quitting, just remember... You can bile your own zerglings and roaches, let your opponent camp a gas in your base for half the game, throw away zerglings at adepts... And still win in Plat 🤣🤣🤣 Hope it was entertaining! I feel like you just didn’t know when to quit, banging your head against that planetary was counterproductive to say the least. Plus you should’ve split the zerglings when scouting to cover more ground. From what i gather you’re fairly new, if so this was a good game either way :)

Your response was reasonable! Like Lowko said, scouting for stuff is the correct response. And the mechanics will come with more games/practice :) And a tip: If you encounter somebody turtling THIS hard on 1 base (PF, turrents, sensor tower, bunkers), just quadruple your usual expansion rate. Take all the bases, and just make stuff, doesn't really matter what stuff, just have more, waaaaaay more. Great game! :)

You shouldn't yolo into that. From my Terran pov you should have patiently tried to bile that stuff down then eventually get lurker. A few more queens at home maybe a safety spore in each base. I can't rip on you too much for scouting you did try. Glad you beat that garbage. GG! Also, don't over expand Ive lost to garbage because I did that.

Don't sweat. You did win. It was really unfortunate you never scouted the proxy, but there were some big things you could have easily changed in this game. 1. Spend your money. You were floating thousands of resources, and if that went to army evenly split at home and the front, you would be in a much safer position. 2. Know when not to take a fight. The ravager push was decent, but you should not have lost the mutas at the end. It's cool to take out a few turrets, but know when your muta count is too low and you need to retreat. 3. Don't underestimate the PF.

Listen, Lowko, we send our games for assistance and improvement, but also for laughs. If you're in a low league, chances are you're bad for a reason, which when watching from an outside view, can be pretty funny. If a person submits their game and GENUINELY believe they were pretty good and you point out obvious flaws, and they get butt hurt, that is quite literally only their problem.

If you're in a lower league, there's a reason for it. If having a GM point out your mistakes TRIGGERS you and makes you upset, you aren't looking to improve. You're being made fun of as a lower league player not BECAUSE you're a lower league player but because you make mistakes that (if you fix) will help you to climb the ladder.

I was playing a game against a terran in peepmode, and the terran was SO BAD, HE LEGIT MISPLACED HIS NATURAL CC so his pf would be at the ramp. He then proceeded to mine with that cc, make like 2 bunkers at the ramp, 1 bunker at the edge, and 1 bunker at the back of his natural.

That last game..... I have a very strong memory from WOL, losing to a Terran build similar to that on Scrap Station. The PF confused me so much I dropped my guard and got murdered from a proxy I didn't find.... It made me switch to Terran and got 100% win rate on that map after that. :D

I used to play wings of liberty back in the day. Were in diamond league before I got old and didnt have much time to play. So I ended up spending more time watching twitch and youtube. Now, many years later, I dont think I can ever get back into the game because its such a musclememory heavy game and I would just suck at it now. I fear I would just get my behind handed to me in ladder. But these viewer submitted games give me hope.
