This series is an absolute gem. Over the course of about a week I went from plat 3to plat 1 following tips and builds from these videos. Stalled a little bit at plat 1 but I just broke into diamond today, I've only lost 2 games against Terran while using your early roach pressure build. Thanks for all that you do m8

In any SC1 game I'm like "oooh, how can I win with any means possible, now, now, now" - meanwhile - this australian guy before the game says "naaah, we're gonna do this and this and this" - and then he wins the game effortlessly WHILE babbling like the old lady who lives in the neighbourhood and works in an open-air market at a vegetable stall. What are they feeding him? I've heard there have been some nuclear disagreements in Australia where aborigens have raised claims against nuclear pollution in their lands - does anyone know? Does PIG have bald head under the cap? Maybe his brain glows green? Maybe he's got horns on the head? Anyway. Brilliantly executed gameplay - undeniably satisfying to watch, greetings from the glorious country of Latvia.

What's the best way to learn game knowledge? Should I try playing different races to know their's buildorders and struggles to use this to my advantage, or I can just make notes and learn from experience by analyzing replays?

Def don’t play all the races. Pick the one you love! Next focus on macro for that race and learn a build order. Start by just playing an empty custom and perfect the build. The main thing here is to get mechanically good. You need to be able to use the controls or you will never progress. I recommend grid hotkeys. Just enjoy that mechanical training with music and stuff. After that try you build on ladder. Just hit play again non stop. Watch every replay. Take lots of notes on how to react to things. If you play Zerg watch this series from the begging and ViBE B2GM

Just a correction at 2:53:10 you mention that 300ms ping is 3 second delay but that’s actually incorrect, 300ms is 300/1000ths of a second so it’s actually closer to one third (1/3) of a second. - The real KILLER with bad ping is that sometimes you click and it just “doesn’t” seem to register with the server at all! Of course a 300ms ping is definitely bad bad news!

He didn't... He explains, as he was watching the replay, that he already was going for a roach all in but was going to prepare defensively when he thought the player was doing the same build because of the lack of drones at the expo. Then he went in to scout a second time, saw more drones at the expo, and realized that his opponent was not doing a roach all in but was just incredibly bad at macro

Also that Terran's macro is sh*t to be honest. Ive been Plat 1v1 8 times and by 7:00 minutes id already have 7 or more Siege Tanks and mines on the field. The fact that he is mid to low Masters shows how stupid the ladder system really is. He probably cheesed to get there and doesnt have the mechanics to actually be there at all.
