Wow, yeah, that info and his immediate reaction won him the game. Always neat to see / catch those things and then the player's reaction to them in their tactics and strategies. Pretty amazing, really, that they can so quickly and precisely hit the brakes and change directions. Very cool. I like the rewind, more of that!!!

I have a bit of a theory about what I think happened (2nd game regarding the scouting), but only because I still use an opener that Hero used back during Wings of Liberty. In a nutshell, the idea behind the build was to send your opponent on some train tracks and since you kinda knew the reaction they'd have to your play, you just counter that play. I think the super early probe harass while perhaps opportunistic, was also sent out specifically to try and delay that hatch timing. Once he confirmed that the Zerg opted to take an earlier pool as opposed to just taking the third, he knew that he likely baited Rogue into playing aggressive. He put down that Robo long before the Adept scouted the Roach. I think he got into Rogue's head this game, and played him perfectly.

I'm deeply impressed by herO's defense there in that second game. Most protoss players would have died... First, most people wouldn't even see it coming. Second, if they had made 1 fewer Shield Battery, or having the immortal pop out a few seconds later, the protoss would have died. Third, even if a regular player had all the units that herO had there, chances would be that a small mistake in the micro-ing would have cost the game...

After game 1 was over, it was very easy to realize that Hero would win game 2, since there wasnt much time left in the video. Please, please start adding blank time to the end of videos if there isn't a game 3 (or 5) - it is a little bit ruined if I know the outcome like this

Or, just don't pay attention to the video duration when you browse SC2 vids. I don't see any big caster do this, it's wasteful, and only appeases people who spoil games for themselves. Same as the crowd that asks for no spoilers in the comments, instead of not reading the comments mid game.

The harvester AI will try to mine somewhere else if a patch is already being mined, so pros will mine/cancel spam the closer more efficient patches to force the opponents harvesters to be less efficient. It barely matters, but early game they've got spare apm to spam.
