@@Agent1W James Harper added that nice southern drawl, it kinda shows the current limitations of AI. It gives a nice general idea of how a voice actor would sound with his lines, but it's just not the same.

Nice one adding reverb to Mojo's voice, Executor. Feels more authentic that way. It's interesting that you take up Alpha Squadron colors for this campaign. Maybe this commander works under Duke.

Alpha Squadron was supposed to be the best, so actually showing them being competent instead of punching bags under Dukie is a nice change of pace. We also play as them in Precursor campaign, when they were still with Confederacy and battling Chau Sara infestation.

Shouldn't killing the Cerebrate without Dark Templar energies be completely ineffective anyway? Or was that just as long as the Overmind was alive?

It has never been consistent. After the Overmind was killed, you still needed Dark Templars to kill the Cerebrates on Shakuras. But when the UED did the invasion of Char, the Cerebrates that were surrounding the Overmind once dead stayed dead. I guess the Cerebrates reincarnate themselves when the gameplay demands it and they stay dead when it doesn't.

@@Altermerea The UED had the Psi Disrupter under their control at the time, which even cleared the path to landing on Char. This would have otherwise been impossible. It wouldn't be strange to think that it would have also disrupted their reincarnation powers.

UED had the tech like disruptor and neurostimulants to pacify the Overmind. Most likely even if it could, it wouldn't be able to ressurect it's minions. It's all speculation how it would work against "adult" Overmind.

You got a point about the neurostimulants, but I think it's not so much about having invented them (the Dominion also has neurostimulants, they're called stimpacks), and more about being able to produce them in a high enough quantity to control something like the Overmind with it.

@@ExecutorNral The Cerebrate is controlled by a Terran and gets killed by a nuke, implying the Pact between the Overmind and its minions is already broken. Also, Duke, the general of Mengsk, is never mentioned. It couldn't be after the OG campaign.
