Arcturus' Principal Proletariat reduces the gas cost of his Royal Guard and improves his Imperial Mandate generation, at the cost of increasing their mineral and supply cost. To maximize this, I focus on producing more Royal Guard and only using Troopers for excess minerals.

For me Principal Proletariat is best prestige you can use. Extra mineral cost is no issue, and extra suppy is largely offset by better mandate generation. It's just a lot of fun to play with ton of maxed out royal guards :D .

The best unit comp against air zerg/terran with p2 Mengsk I found was flying siege tanks. The insane range together with huge aoe attack just cleanse the air in 3,4 shots, not mentioning the fact that when flying siege tanks are destroyed, you only lost the medivac as tank dropped to the ground.

Also flying siege tanks are the single most glorious thing that I've ever heard so it must be the better way to do it

I prefer thors for that, but flying tanks is best vs BCs, ravens and vipers cuz they'll die before using spells.

@@RynerAGL If you get the setup before the enemies arrived. Yes, thor is very strong aa. However, given the mobility of thor it is no easy task. You can carry it with medivac most of the time, but if you choose to carry thor around with medivacs why not just straight flying tanks lol. At the same time, flying tanks is a fire on the move aoe AA with range as far as its sight range...

My favorite prestige by far, barelly even need troper upgrades with this prestige and scales fast. Though you kinda missed the armor aura from thors, they're not that good for troopers with maybe rocket since they tend to stay in backline, but Aegis Guards gets 6 armor, up to 9 armor(8 to 11 for Pride I believe?) with Blackhammer aura, it is quite a huge deal. Too bad the aura doesn't work on bunkers, otherwise would be one of the strongest units to use since it would completelly offset the need of armor upgrades.

When Mengsk came out, I actually always put in at least one Blackhammer with my army just because of this buff. Barely lost any guys and that was mostly a viking/aegis army which felt op.

p1 raynor does do that sometimes lol to be fair, he only made 44, which is not a whole lot ofc it might be a glitched number, we'll never know

I noticed that raynor bio with a good number of medics is a really cost efficient and resilient army, I'm not good at this game so I don't play at brutal but usually with a level 5/6 raynor I lose between 10 to 20 marines and mostly in the early game or when pushing in bases

Mengsk can fend off first wave with his zerg or ss (if air mech). I find that trying to get gas first, engineering upgrade for drop, and then barracks and starport afterwards is a good way to play his P2. But after engineering I would send a group of laborers to rush the second CC then switch them out to troopers to destory the rock.

next prestige I would like to see is a tie between the two prestiges I'm really not good at: artificer of souls for alarak, I never get to have the right composition and my wrathwalkers are never at their full potential (also I didn't check recently if the trick with the war prism is still working, that might help a lot); the second is unconquered spirit for fenix, I didn't even get to that prestige yet, though I hate stacks of abilities and I don't know how to use avenging protocol effectively in particular

typing that before I see the end of the video, but if you aren't killing off many of your workers, and using only royal guards as an army, you are doing this prestige wrong in my opinion. Yep, looks like a wrong use, it's not "Mengsk" enough.

This commander should have the friendly fire on with his calldowns, it should be like "yes workers, go scout the enemy base... I won't drop these 30 missiles and a nuke in your exact position at the first occasion". I mean you can do it, but the worker might survive which isn't the most mengsk thing to do
