With the release of StarCraft: Remastered right around the corner it is time to have a look at all of the units and structures in the game. In this video I cover all of the Terran units that are available.

If you want to cast campaign play, dont forget to play precursor first. 1. Precursor a 6 mission demo campaign 2. Starcraft Episode 1-3 3. Broodwar Episode 4-6 There is also 2 bonus campaign which is enslaver and enslavers dark vengeance. The enslaver take places between episode 1 and 2, and dark vengeance is take place between episode 4 and 5. I suggest play the enslaver and dark vengeance after you finish the episode 6 as the difficulty is quite different than the original. Also there is a stukov mini series which consist of 3 mission. 1. Deception 2. Mercenaries II 3. Resurrection IV The first and second mission is available on classic sc web, and the other third one is a console version map, but thankfully there is a map maker out there who make it available to play on pc.

The only sins the Goliath has is its pathing and the fact that they aren't as effective at killing shit on the ground as tanks. They are beyond beautiful.

I've played Starcraft since like 1997 or so and I only JUST realized when listening to the sound the the covert ops makes, that it is a play on the X-files tv show theme! What an awesome reference from Blizzard!

It's so strange seeing this game with these graphics. I can see details in the units I never noticed before. It's so clean, it almost looks wrong. I miss Valks in 2. I miss dedicated anti air units all together. Devour and Coursair.

backlashD in Co-op Vorazun has corsair and Abathur has devourer. Also corruptors are anti-air.

What I miss the most when I started playing Starcraft 2 was Defilers. That thing was murder on protoss units since it sends their HP to red and the protoss player end up having to sacrifice them because there's nothing more they're useful for.

Yeah, I miss the Broodwar uni- looks back at reavers killing everything that moves, defilers plaguing my base, and science vessels irradiating my mineral lines- nope I don't.

Low Ko I'm only 18 and starch aft 1 came out when I was born and has been my childhood ever since I was able to play on computers from age 5, may not have been good at it then tho lol. But now I've been playing star craft 1 since and star craft 2. They both feel slightly different and I enjoy swapping my time between the two games. This video was awesome thank u!!!!!

The speed upgrade increases vulture speed by 50%. As far as AI bugs vs. features, one of the "features" of the AI was that if you aimed a nuke directly at a building, the AI would send it's nearest unit with detection to the nuke point, find your ghost, and kill it before the nuke arrived. But if you aim your nuke at the ground next to the building, the AI will stand around blissfully unaware of the nuke until it hits.

for the previews ypu might want to use the old fashion cheats to expedite the tedious part of long upgrades build times etc. if i remember correctly the old fast construction cheat was operation cwal.

By the way, Lowko, fun fact about AI in skirmish - all AI players are campaign sub-factions(basically armies, but they have too distinct personalities to be described just like that, especially in case of broods), and which is which is dictated by the color. I'm not sure if it dictates the AI behavior though, but I'm certain that it does because same setups on same map felt rather different each time the enemy brood/faction/tribe was differently colored. For example, Omega Squadron(brown T) was all too much into wasting units in constant suicidal attacks on bunkers, while Epsilon Squadron(yellow T) liked to play defensively while rushing towards nukes and heavily utilizing science vessels(speaking of which... ;D). Zerg broods are same-ish in behavior tho, I haven't noticed much of a difference with them, but maybe it was because I was young and only encountered zerg AI when I was trying to stage fun 8-player FFA matches but _all_ AI always teamed up against me and on 3rd minute my base was always flooded by a mixed ball of all colors and races.

18:22 actually, many people are not going to be happy with the way Blizzard changed some of the portraits as well as victory/defeat arts. A better resolution would have sufficed just fine. Upd: you never build a Science Vessel :)

If you never played SC1/BW you NEED to take a few seconds to read up on damage types and unit types and how the two play together, a complication SC2 largely did away with. For example the difference between Mechanical (Siege Tank) and Robotic (Reaver) is subtle but important. The diff between how Concussive dmg type (i.e. Ghost) effects biological vs how Explosive damage (Hydra, Dragoon, Photon Cannon, Arbiter, Siege-mode Siege Tanks) vs Normal damage type (I.e. Marine, Zealot, D/T etc) vs whatever the fuck Firebat damage type was, ALL is VERY important. Then there's the a.i. quirks of scarabs, interceptors, that shit. It's a lot but fun, good luck.🍀

I've played the original SC in the late nineties, and I was amazed by the graphics. Blizzard definitly did a great job. But in 2 decades I they will have photorealistic games, you don't have to doubt that.

Did the graphics change in Starcraft one (towards the end of the game's life). Since I played Starcraft when I was young (back in like 2004/5) and I don't remember these graphics but I remember the buildings such as the academy. But maybe it's just my nostalgia remembering it differently

I don't understand why they decided to stick with the original designs on some units, but opted to update others with the SC2 visual. For example, the SC2 version of the CMC-300 is pretty much my all time favorite power armor design. While I can understand Blizzard reverting it back to its SC1 look for the sake of staying true to the original, I don't understand why they made the adjutant a perfect reproduction of the SC2 adjutant. Really! If you look closely at the SCR adjutant you can see dimples on the synthetic skin where the SC2 adjutant has screws. I personally would have been fine with the adjutant retaining the cyborg look.

Because SC2 actually updated the designs of SC1-era stuff as well. You find a SC1-era Adjutant in SC2's campaign, and its design is similar to the SC2-era Adjutants (which makes sense given they're only a few years apart canonically). Blizzard's artistic styles have changed over time just like anyone else, and Remastered's designs are a mix of old and new, sticking to the original designs recognizably while also incorporating their updated style in places.

I have a request, for an Easter egg that you can show us while you are going through all the characters in the other races. If you click on the same unit multiple times (like 10) they will start going through additional voice lines for their character. some of them are kind of funny, Zerg's are kind of boring, but this is true for Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2, and even Heroes of the Storm as well. You can even go through with unique characters from the RTS games like Thrall and Kerrigan.

I believe it's 3 or 4 before the lines. But yeah, campaign is starting off slow, so it'd be a nice distraction. Let's just hope that he'll take it slow and won't ruin the flow by trying to show off his insane APMz. Also it'd be good if he turned up the volume a little because currently it's near-silent, especially the music, which is very bad.
