I'll go ahead and confirm your suspicions that Garm (orange) may indeed purposefully target spots that he deems to be reachable without tripping any defenses =) There are plenty of attack types never used in the campaigns (or even in any original SC aiscript code at all) that do something useful - for example, target expansions explicitly instead of the main base (determined based on start locations), target the closest possible point, target regions with less force than the attack etc., and I've mixed and matched them to make Garm seem at least a little more cunning, and to make sure their heroes are more scary as well. This map perhaps doesn't quite live up to expectations difficulty-wise (or at least that was my impression based on how often you were surprised you aren't being attacked), when it comes to how often attacks come by in the first part, because whenever it was immediately aggressive in testing I felt that the second section just becomes completely obnoxious if you spent too many resources early on - I've opted to make attacking the Zerg harder and defending from the Zerg easier as a result, though maybe there exists some more elegant solution (more smaller attacks? but then small groups of Ovies just get evaporated...) Orange of course does go into overdrive for the second part, there's a trigger that sets a battlecruiser (not used in the map) death that the script waits for and then modifies script type, defense flags, jumps away to a later part of the attack loop etc., if someone is interested in the technicals

Maybe more Muta flocks that could cover for the Overlords. I don't the attacks were actually infrequent, it's more the way the AI reacts to transports getting hit by Turrets - very few actually were making it through so it seemed like fewer attacks.

Also, if someone's interested in how zerg Broods are different lore-wise, they can be characterized in a couple of words: *Tiamat* (Red): Elite brood *Surtur* (Blue): Destructive, insane brood *Fenris* (Teal): Hunter, tracker brood *Jormungard* (Purple): Main Army/Strikeforce brood *Garm* (Orange): Fast Raider/Hit-and-run brood *Baelrog* (White): Fierce Cannibal brood Leviathan and Grendel (Yellow and Brood) broods are kinda just there for moral support.

Shame you were just barely too slow to get to the island expansion before Blue, but at least you got there before he really established himself to start putting pressure on it. But as you saw, Blue is viciously protective of that island. Aside from Unclean Ones, Orange will also employ Devouring Ones - hero Zerglings! Also, I don't know if it's actually scripted to be like that, but Orange definitely seems to wake up a bit after Blue's Hive goes down. I imagine it probably is. Nice of Tassadar to send troops over to assist with the Unclean One, even if he was a tad slow. Jay is happy to see Reavers. We have entered the mirror dimension.

Well, my take on why Orange became more actif after Blue lost his Hive is that, before these zergs were busy elsewhere - probably hunting and attacking civilians, which prompted Jim to propose this plan. And then they rushed back.

Is the original not broodwar uedaip campaign available publicly? When i try to play the one included in the download link it just plays the OG campaign maps with modified units but not the modded campaign

So do I have to put the included maps into the custom maps folder in order for it to work? Or was jayborino given beta access? Cause right now they dont appear in the custom maps folder.

@@TheNyannyan48 sounds like youre choosing the wrong expansion in the single player Mode selection, maps are .scx so you will counterintuitively need to pick BW
