My guess on the possibly ore/not potatoes thing is that it's cocoa beans for chocolate, to eventually tie into the haunted chocolatier game.

The new item that has 3 objects mushed together looks to me like some kind of reptile eggs. Maybe frog eggs with a new frog pond building or an addition to the fish pond? All the new purple items also remind me of void creatures, maybe something related to the sewers or an expansion of the swamp mines area and the witch's hut, because I think we all have gone to those areas approximately 2 times and never again. Then the new map could be a swamp of sorts focused on frogs or some other void creatures.

Oh I never thought of an egg type of item.. if we get a frog themed destination I will be so happy. Or better yet void

i dont think frog pond. whats the one thing about fish that people still go to the wiki for? i think its tells you what fish are out today. the current thing we have isnt good. hell theres mods that show you what fish are currently in the water cause people hate not knowing and hate pausing the game and heading over to the wiki. it makes the most sense. "its raining today so you can catch blank at blank from blank to blank" and so on. its whats is needed.

I have a feeling that "mini festivals" That has less interaction. I know people consider flower dance a big festival, Though I believe this is what a mini festival is. Is a festival with less Player game interaction and more of a ok talk to Villagers, but some stuff from a shop and watch a cut scene. With the new farm type I believe it could be 2 things, Just like four corners it could be a farm to fit up to 8 players, Yeah console players can't play up to 8 players, though itll Also be worth playing anyways for that big. Farm space. A big farm space like that gives you more farm to decorate and work with. Meaning it's gonna give somebody longer, Play ability to play on it even without 8 players. Since they would want to work on their farm completely.. The other idea for me anyways that i've also seen go around is a swamp type of farm. Where crops like rice shoots you could plant anywhere not just by bodies of water. Since the ground is always hydrated. I've also seen a snow Pierce no one going around. Although that would be a cool idea, I feel as if the laid back players aren't gonna want to play on something challenging like that. I think after this update he'll go back to working On his new game, HCT And every time he needs to. Take a break or after the game releases. He'll come out with a smaller update for stardew valley. Like coming out with seasonal clothings for the other seasons, Bug fixes And if he's keeping up with a theme a farm type. Though I feel as if this might be one of the last bigger updates for the game. I'm pretty happy with this though

Ohhh I didn’t even think about a huge farm map for 8 players… I actually think you are spot on with that LOL. Could be fun to design solo too.

I completely agree with farm idea. I'm not quite sure we have been given the concept of a mini festival yet(?) tho; the festivals have been all treated the same with the same flag color on the calendar regardless of it's content.

the new animals has to be frogs, there’s so many references to frogs in npc dialogue it would be criminal to not add frogs.
