Thank you, cool game. Realy wish to see arm in pro 1v1's more often, but it seems unlicelly due to smaller range in arm T1 units

Funny enough about a year ago you never saw core and arm was the go to. Metas do change so give it time and arm will be back on top

Map was simply too big to play 1v1. The first rush made the game ending blow 20 minutes before the actual end.

should have just went around the mammoth instead of trying to all in on the only point on the map that is strong for rAndy

I think he was hoping to get the reclaim to get back in the game. Or go for the comm as it was right behind the mammoth

I was thinking the same thing. The mammoths were no real danger because they are so slow. It would have taken them a while to walk to a spot where they could do damage. RAndy just dumped all those resources into a mammoth. No way he could have enough to defend his sides against bulls out lightning tanks.

Did he just feel he was far behind, and thus didn't pull the trigger anywhere?

Him not having any T1 lab to raid also made a big difference. randy keeping the T1 meant the bots could keep all that north clear, and stardom had no choice but to push the middle with the bulls. Enabling all the cool spy bot, mammoth, and scorpion defense. It may have gone very differently if the bulls held the front and 15 blitz were raiding the sides constantly.

Great game, love that period of the game with some T2 but T1 still relevant. Also banger music.

Great cast again, thank you! What was that opening attack though? Stardom kept pushing out scouts for no reason when a blitz or 2 queued in front could have saved so much eco.

Indeed it seems that he simply just clicked too many scouts. I used to queue like 5 then con but it's too many. I think he was thinking that he would have more time due to the size of the map

I only have a 1080ti. Most machines should be able to play it like this these days. I bet yours would probably look even better than mine

Question: at 17 min we peek at the eco numbers Stardom produced a tad more but had 3k+ of overflow. That effectively puts him behind rAndy, right?

i think neighter tells you alot, it only tells you howmuch army they could potentially have made but no have no clue how much they lost or spend on infrastructure, better to look at army value and current income i think, hope they add army value for specs eventually, we missing critical information

Still not a fan. So few factories, so little distance, so claustrophobic, so low TTK.

1v1 in a map like this with large open territory with short distance between starting commander locations is always going to be about high speed manuever warfare. I think the kinds of battles you want are going to happen in more constricted terrain irrespective of game mechanics. Stardom's critical mistake here though was not putting an LT or two on top of the mesa to the immediate southwest of their base if they were going to go vehicles and not build a bot factory. The obvious play was to send the commander on to the mesa and expand slightly in that direction if Stardom was going to commit to vehicles. The early game shocks to Stardom's eco wouldn't have been nearly as bad if that easy raiding route wasn't an open door into his base. (I say this acknowledging both players would eviscerate me at BAR lol)
