The one I like the most is the immediate change in tone when the guard sees the words "Combat Medic". Goes from that lighthearted, casual nature to his voice having a depth of seriousness to it.

@@jco_sfm that's just the playstyle I'd say but realistically any game with guns that doesn't turn gunning down an entire enemy squad into a major thing (like you being constantly chased by a faction and targeted if you killed their men) will end up turning into a "how many can you kill" speedrun

Although not important as the video is already up, but the [File not Found] background does actually have special dialogue with the guard where he will say along the line of “Ok let me take a look at your file and… wait what … wait a second who are you? There’s nothing here” which I find bit neat since the [file not found] is meant to be just a void/blank slate for a character background

iam the only one who saw the [file not found] as you being a spy just check the skill you start with it is the same sort of skills a spy would have so i don't get why people think it is just a blank slate and not just you being i spy because a spy would not show up in records that "normal" people can see aka UC guards would not know who you are but UC intelligence would know

@@sserobinsse That's basically how I'm RPing my current character. Created in a secret facility with spliced alien DNA to be some super weapon for a corporate (or other) entity, but escaped. Has no record/file but is [Wanted] by the said faction in hopes to bring her in or dispose of her.

It's way funnier knowing that 20 years before the events of Starfield, The UC were basically violating every rule book of war by slapping hyper-lethal bio-weapons into Freestar settlements just cause they didn't agree that "the people who owned the system that protested cause The UC planted a vaguely neutral space station on their orbit" had the right to protest.

I like to play the game as an already accomplished badass who's been around having many diverse jobs, so would be nice to have a mod that lets you customize what background dialogue you can get. Just activate all of these and see how the game can play out.

I imagine space economy crashed and lots of people lost their jobs, forcing your main character to take a mining job for Argos Mining. And some mains even got dream home debt with weekly interest to pay off or/and parents to support with weekly payments, mining to pay for it.

Well diplomat is a little easier. You could have been fired from your job or in the case of peacetime, maybe not as much need for diplomats?

Industrialist is also easy. Your business could have gone under/bankrupt. It's not really implied that you owned a large company or anything. Could have been a small business owner. Business dried up and you had to turn to mining to pay the bills.

No matter what character background you pick, nothing changes in Starfield besides from a bit of dialogue, and some very minor details, at least cyberpunk had that 10 minutes section. Chill lol, they are both great games, no need for unnecessary beef.

You forgot that every lifepath has unique side quest related to something we saw or had or someone we talked to (i.e. Nomad V will receive a quest in Badlands to find starter car, Corpo V will have to find Frank, who is believed to be dead after V's failure, and Street V will have to talk to Kirk, the guy who asked to steal car from some corporate in order to pay Pepe's debt) So, it's seems Starfield has to learn from others.

You're joking, right? Cyberpunk's lifepaths have so much more impact than Starfield's, and it's not even that much more than extra lines of dialogue every so often. Starfield just does nothing with your background. I genuinely don't know why you thought this was a smart comparison to make, because you very much can make this video for Cyberpunk and it will be 10x longer...

No idea what ur yapping about but the game is fine on console, mods are coming to all platforms, and it’s more like fallout + oblivion rather than “Skyrim with sci-fi skin.” Also, thank modders for what? Not like this game really needs any. not much that modders can do for this besides flashy combat that doesn’t fit but gets overhyped. Like what they did for skyrim mods. Can’t believe After 13+ years ppl still don’t get that certain things that happen within a bethesda game are intentional because it’s the “bethesda magic.”Don’t be one of those fake fans that label it as a “bug.”

The game runs fine on a series S, 24 hours in with only one crash, one quest-related bug and minimal frame drop. As the gameplay, it's a Bethesda Games Studios RPG (the best one they made since Oblivion imo), it's your fault for expecting anything different.
