Bathesda and ubisoft uses Max in their pipeline, it was and always has been a part of their work..Max is just amazing

Fantastic as always, Eloi! Thank you. Could you please dedicate some time to an advanced Arnold lesson? For a renderer that comes with Max, there's a staggering lack of tutorials for it.

I always knew that max and maya were industry standard, which they still are, I am just surprised that you didn’t know that 😅 when you look for job in game industry they always mention knowledge of max or maya.

I actually like the way of CS animation, it's ik/fk combined, it felt weird at the beginning but once I got used to it, it became quite convenient. I wish blender has something like that as addition.

What is new about 3ds max, it is new about pluggin developers. 3ds max is dead now and Autodesk has no interest in developing it further, further the increased use of BIM and real time rendering software will make 3ds max out of the game for archviz. People now dont want software doing one task, they want complete solution. The studio culture where 3ds max become popular has gone away, it is the decade of freelancers. You will always promote 3ds max because autodesk sponsors you and you will always try to make its users alive even it has not improved the shitty issues users have faced. You are saying about material editor improvement, point out what has changed in it, cinema4d has very robust material editor even blender material editor is very easy and clean. 3ds max lacks the real-time PBR workflow which is fundamental as per current gpu technology. The main advantage of max was its modelling tools which were not available before in any other software but today the availability of models are insane. A new modelling software called plasticity is come into play which makes modelling game assets way easier and flexible. It can easily handle large bevel with super easy control. A long-time max user " Arrimus 3d" (KZbin channel for best max tutorials) also said that plasticity is the best modelling tool he has ever seen, it is just the matter of time and it will dominate the market. Anyway, the core 3d users are switching to blender,plasticity and old people are happy with max but newer generation will use newer software.

@@crystalparticle7349 you will wait forever because blender is not a commercial software targeted for specific users but it is a complete 3d package. People are using it in all aspects of 3d and you will find KZbin channels for any particular thing. At the end you have to make your own workflow in blender. I know it sounds hard at first but once you gain momentum believe me you will find very easy in 3d.

In fact that people `mock` and `shit` 3Ds Max... bla..bla..bla.., while in reality 3Ds Max always used as `Industry Standard` in huge studios, Whopsyyyy... 😬😬😬
