Probably the worst stealth mission of any game I’ve played

Stealth was definitely an afterthought with the design. I'm sure they added it in because the Elder Scrolls games usually had stealth missions. It makes less sense in a space game.

Why not just skip to the end of the game and then you’ve completed it? Seriously, so far from my experience on Starfield, these Ryujin missions are the most interesting and fun missions to do, and the idea of skipping the content just to complete it? I hope you’re joking, otherwise I’m not sure why you’d bother playing the game at all.

At around 1:10 you can use the little box robot to the right to distract the guards. Makes that part go a lot faster

ever since doing this mission i have a pop-up that repeats itself every 1-2 minutes “you are currently trespassing. residents will become hostile if you stay”

That sucks. Have you tried saving, closing the game, and reloading the save? It sounds like they forgot to reset the game state when you left the mission. You might also want to try loading your last save before finishing the mission inside the building. It may reset the state properly the second time.

Thx for the vid! Just spent I don't know how long trying to get through this, but now I know the guard is supposed to patrol the hallway. Mine was just standing still like at 2:50 and was impossible to get by. Oh well, let's hope my last save before this mission wasn't too long ago.

Yup. Started the mission over, and had no issues. I should've learned my lesson in Fallout 4, where a glitch cost me 100+ hours. Save after every completed mission and keep as many saves as possible.

I think I had another guard there the first time I reached that spot, but it was gone when I grabbed the footage for this run. Hopefully someone else in the chat sees your comment and can walk you through it. It may also be difficulty related.

There are light panels in each of the vents… before each segment. Just stick in the vents n look around n turn off your light.

Bruh I wasted an hour trying how to go undetected the whole mission until I decided to fk it and dash through everything and get the hacking done then leave without any consequences because once I’m up the vent tunnel the security guards will lose sight and stop finding me in the end😂😂

Good video for sure but if I had one piece of advice could you show your stealth skills next time? I have stealth 2 and I’m having a tough time, even knocking out most of the guards. I had an extra skill point so I put it in stealth, much easier now. So it looks like you need at least stealth 3. Also I’m assuming this mission works so long as you’re never in “danger” and nobody dies. Anyone know the details? I’d really hate to do this again just because I was in “caution” at one point and the guard started shooting even though I was technically undetected. Thanks again!

Did you join Ryujin Industries in Neon? If you've finished the main mission All That Money Can Buy, you should have a faction mission called Back to the Grind. It starts there.

That sounds like a bug. The point of placing the guards is to have them patrol areas. Did you try closing the game and reloading your save? Worst case scenario, kill the guards since there isn't an achievement tied to doing it with stealth.

Some differences may be based on difficulty levels, but it also sounds like the patrols get into buggy states.
