so glad this video exists. managed to do it with just one point of stealth and didn't even need to shoot any guards. each one you shot I just waited until their back was turned. reconstim and taking off the spacesuit was definitely key

@@thedonofthsht76-58 did you have your armor on?? I had no points in stealth all my points where in combat science and tech. Once I took my armor off I just crouched by and waited till they where facing the opposite way.

7:05 If you don't want to risk shooting the guard, just sneak with him and go through the door on the right, then through the vent and you'll drop into the meeting room, there'll be a guard at the railing to the right of the door out of the meeting room, wait for him to go to his left position and sneak into the office room to the left of the hall way, the first guard (that OP shot) will patroll and look at the door, wait for him to leave that position and you can slip to the vent room.

For those who haven't picked this up beforehand: Leave your companions for all stealth missions. I still like the game, but companions make all stealth quests much harder and the game WONT tell you that.

What a great guide.Stealth works in starfield if you know the tricks.With an Arboron Novastrike sniper (modified with an EM magazine)you can stumble around like an inebriated toddler and beat the quest pretty easy.

Spent over an hour at 8:06 - it's literally IMPOSSIBLE when wearing a space suit. Now I see.

Even without a Follower and one Skill Point in Stealth I was being detected every step; thought this was going to be impossible, and I did not want to play Starfield as a stealth character. Then took off all gear except the +10% Persuasion suit from an earlier Ryujin mission (just in case). (If you need flashlight at any point you'll need to put on the Helmet.). Took a Reconstim although I may not have needed it. (Someone else here suggested Amp as well.) Turned off the floor lights at each panel I passed. The "Sense Star Stuff" Power removed much of the stress, but switching to 3rd person to see around corners is probably as good. At one point when I jumped I came out of Stealth and was confronted by a guard. Easy Persuade check for me with 4 points in Persuasion. One guard stayed too long in a hallway so I held the Disrupter Fire button to charge it and one shot her to sleep. I did not need to reload the game even once. Dalton said he had no incident reports from any guards.

The guard you snuck past at 8:07 ALWAYS notices me. It's becoming a real bitch to complete without all of them noticing and starting to shoot at me. I can't reload a previous save and start the whole mission over either. It's weird. ~ Oh wait, your spacesuit makes you 10 times easier to be spotted while sneaking. I had to learn that from the comments here. Ugh. ~ Now I've gotten to 9:28 and the guards keep noticing me. I've taken my suit, helmet, backpack all off, pop a Reconstim and amp and I still get spotted very easily as soon as I step out into that open area. It's like the guards in the small room are bugged and don't always go away fast enough, so the robot comes back. Also, when I do make it into the open area, the guard in that room to the right always spots me. It never fails.

fyi, you do not have to sneak, you just have to use the disruptor they gave you if you choose not to. the guards kept finding me regardless of what I did, so i just shot/disrupted my way through lol.

9:53 Instead of taking the stairs and zapping the guard you can hug the right wall, hop on the desk and then jump on the cabinet and then on top of the room and continue up to the vent completely unnoticed.

This is by far the worst designed quest in the game. I have max level stealth and was still caught SEVERAL times while crouch walking through the vents with the "hidden" status active. Not to mention that the nova doesnt take down guards unless you have maxed out the skill for damage too.

You'll want to have 2 ranks of Stealth and 1 rank of security to undertake this mission. I was having trouble 'cos I didn't notice the light control panels in each of these areas. Also I wasn't able to get 1-shots with the gun they give you 'cos my only weapon skill is ballistic weapons.

With space suit, helmet & jetpack off you don't need more than 1 point in stealth. Also hold trigger down before firing to charge weapon, which takes them down in 1 shot.

You can also use the power that makes you see any living being locations .... ALOT easier to know where guard are at all times since you see them throu objects. Edit: Also in a later stealth mission i found out i can shoot at end of a room i want all guard to run too and check out (they run to the wall/area shoot hits). Meanwhile i run past them while they are gone from there regular positions. Aslong they dont SEE you, alarm has zero effect on outcome. You can have a gazillion alarms (red alert) in the missions. Aslong nobody actualy see you, then you will get perfect outcome reward :)

The second person he takes out up the stairs you can also wait until they walk to the opposite railing and skip taking them out as well. Was super frustrating but managed to do it last night

Word to the wise, DON'T shoot that guard at 7:20 cause the guards will "still" be alerted even though they gave up their search by when you reach the next area 8:05 they will attack you once you open the door. (At least that is what happened to me).......

Those guards for me were definitely not one-shot-stun types. They needed four our more rounds to knock them out. So I either had to avoid them completely, or possibly persuade them if I did not get past

You need to hold down the trigger button to charge it, before release. If you don't then you'll never one shot drop them.

@@Wonderbacon Yes, sometimes for me they didn't move for a long time and I had to go past them, in the end there were only 3 - 4 targets that I had stunned, not perfect but it worked, I had to find out that you could charge the weapon, somehow I didn't notice that xD but thanks!

That mission was impossible to do completely without getting caught. And I had Stealth at rank 4. I know BGS wanted to nerf Stealth since it have been OP since Skyrim, but common. How it hell could a soldier see me in almost complete dark across the room when I was in the last floor??

I hate this mission. Initially I kept getting seen for no reason until I realised it was my companion giving me away. The mission is so slow and tedious, I think you can just run and gun but get less rewards and a big bounty on your head.

Even with the chameleon skill, in one section my companion passed the guards another way: I went behind them, she went right in front of them, and brought a whole slew of soldiers angry at her lol. So yea. Better to leave all your friends so they don't sabotage it.

Everything was going good for me until a glitch made the guard change his route to keep jumping from the left side of the door to the right it was somewhere around 9:30 I had no choice but to just stun all of them and try stealth again in the next area and when I got there to the computer my game froze I love this game but that happens way to often
