Character creation is a big thing for me. I know it's silly, but I love being able to spend the time to get exactly what I want. I'm glad to see how much you're able to detail. Also, "I'm a gamer, you think I go outside?" 1:13

8:20 "Gamer" choice :) ... great idea, a bit OP though: Reflex Bonus, Quick Aim, All Weapon Proficiency, Premonition / Time Travel, Respawn. ;)

That character builder seems stupendously good, and not just a little bit! The choice of traits would give me anxiety though: 3 out of 16 selectable. I'd be stuck at that screen for 3 hours, as opposed to 3 min of the character visuals, srsly.

Idk why people are so upset about this (even though I hate the world we live in today) it is an rpg game after all so I guess they added it for role playing elements which makes sense.

Character creation is identical to the Outer Worlds in that, what you see on the editor screen will not resemble what you see in-game. Even the best-made faces I've created look like gremlins in 3rd person, under most lighting conditions. And significantly less detailed in all lighting conditions. Example, gentle freckles will be all but invisible in-game. This has never been an issue in past bethesda titles so I'm pretty disappointed. Also, there's an odd eyeball glitch right now where your character will stare, wide-eyed, off into space or down at the floor. I think it's related to their attempt at headtracking.

So true I have being trying to create my character for so long and after I went to check in game that eye bug was happening and the character looked nothing like all the work I had ☹️. Hope this can be fixed.

​@@kahunasealI hope they fix it too. I'm sure the eye bug will be patched eventually. Not sure what can be done about the discrepancy in detail between creation screen and in-game, though. That seems like a fundamental weakness of their new engine. Fingers crossed it's fixable... Maybe mods...

Darn I was hoping to be able to mix in some alien features-l wanted to live out my Alien Nation cosplay dream with “Cathy” as my waifu lol. If I was on PC I’m sure the modding community would back me up…get to work bois!
