Ya I’m getting ready to become a Disney annual pass holder and I’m going to hold off playing Starfield till the mods come out!! But hey don’t be stressed your amazing person and content creator you got this but I’m glad to hear the family is good 😊

I'm on a 3080 and I had none stop crashing so this is a welcome change

I played for about 8 hours before the last patch and today i wanted to continue and the game randomly shut down my PC. I never had that happen before with any other game. I play via gamepass and i heard that version is different to the steam version.

That sounds like a software or hardware issues that Starfield isn’t causing itself, rather it’s triggering. Have you tried monitoring your temps while playing? And was it just an immediate power shutoff or did you get a blue screen?

Give it some time, and the community most requested feature is going to be for Bethesda to stop updating the game so our mods stop being constantly broken every few weeks by useless updates of creation club. :D

I was making an amazing spaceship and I was about to rename and save it and then this update booted me out of the game and I lost it.

Never heard of someone being booted off for an update. Which platform are you on?

@Apoqsi Xbox. When Xbox games get updates, they often force you back to the dashboard so they can close down and update

It plays differently than past BGS games, as there is no wandering exploration. The quests/activities all lead you to the handcrafted content (there is a lot) and you can then explore as much as you want at those locations. Wandering randomly in space will just lead you to emptiness or the proc-gen content, which isn't really worth your time. I'll have a few videos discussing my thoughts on the game, including some of the biggest issues with it. I'll also discuss the "right way" to play it. 😊
