I hope there’s a mod in the future that allows prebuilt outpost. Like the Dream Home, there can be multiple preset we can choose on how we want the house to be instantly decorated. Saves a lot of time and hassle.

It was a thing in Fallout 4 for the Vault DLC - a build saving/loading mod, I mean. It was a bit glitchy, but it was still a huge timesaver. I had hoped that build saving/loading would be a vanilla thing in Starfield, but no such luck...yet. The naive part of me hopes that they still might add it. I mean, hell, they've said they're working on a land vehicle, so they're not yet done adding new features. Maybe it'll be a nice surprise when official mod support finally happens. And maybe pigs will fly.

I started a playthrough where I picked the trait to get this house but have been struggling on how to furnish all that space. This has given me quite a few ideas. You even managed to fill in some spots I didn't even consider like the walls above and around the stairs. Amazing seeing what other builders and decorators in this game come up with.

I can't imagine the amount of work that went into making this. You even lined up the labels on the soda cans. (You should have coolers in the kitchen.) Has anyone else noticed the bizarre layout of the original house, though? Like, getting from any bedroom to any bathroom requires a trek through wide-open public spaces?

Given the nature of the game, I typically don't bother decorating myself. That said, seeing something like this makes me wish Bethesda had the foresight to include a layout recording and exchange system for shipbuilding and decor. I would love to be able to download something like this and then just have it apply the entire decor layout with one click.

Even if it’s 4 months old I’m impressed just stunned and it makes me thinking about all the decorations you can build and not really use like using the shower or the toilet or watch TV I mean every place you can discover has 1-2 TVs in it and you can’t watch it. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the kind words. With regards to building, if you're on Xbox and hover over the object and hold A Button it will allow you to freely place it anywhere. I should note that it can be very finicky to get items placed correctly so it's a lot of trial and error. You can also rotate objects along different axis by pushing in Left Stick. Good luck! 👍

How do you get the standing amours or Mannequins with amour ?.

The mannequins are available in the outpost build mode. You may need the required skills / research upgrades. You will need to equip the armor on them to show. Same way you do on yourself.

@@Brad_Jacob I have all outpost skills and research maxed out . I tried to put an amour on a Mannequin and it was taking it as a storage device , the amour didn’t show on the outside . Do you have to use a specific amour or specific Mannequin or all amour should work ?. Ok i got it . You have to go to the amour while it’s stored in the Mannequin and select equips .

All the furniture is available though the build computer provided you have the skill points levelled up in outpost building and unlocked in the research lab. All the decorations were picked up while exploring the main game.

Any secret to putting things on shelves

There's 2 ways. First and obvious way is to enter build mode, but it has its limitations when placing items on multi-tiered shelves. The method I use is to push and HOLD the A button (Xbox) over an item-this will allow you to grab onto the object and place it anywhere. Additionally, you can also rotate the item by pushing in Left Stick. Hope this helps!

First of all this is freaking awesome secondly how do you get so many of these things close together I keep getting things jumping around or red-out not letting me place them is there any tips anyone can share im admittedly new to the house decorating side of the game.

There's 2 ways to place decorations. The first way like you said is under build mode-this is more limiting but more "permanent". The second method, which I use frequently is to drop the item from your inventory, hover over it and hold the A button if you're in Xbox. This will allow you to hold and place it anywhere. You can also change the rotational axis by pushing in the left stick. Hope this helps!

How do you get your mannequins to work? I put some in my home, but no matter what I put on them they just remain blank visually. The suits don't show up on them.
