Thanks for the shoutout on the Starfield Creation Kit Guide; very much appreciated! Hoping it will help some folks new to it all avoid at least a fraction of the 120 hours+ I spent in the kit and many more hours watching videos before I gained a bit of confidence with it. I changed the guide name to "Starfield Creation Kit: An Introductory Guide for Building Outposts and POIs" and it has a new section and updates - more on the way.

After over a year of playing, I’ve just now started really getting into the mods. From little cosmetics mods like Darker space (removes the “space clouds”) to the Starvival overhaul mod. It’s been robbing me of much needed sleep if I can say the least. The world is a much better place with Starfield in it

I use the NPC Enhancer mod and I’ve used it on Hadrian (hair and eyes), Andreja (hair and facial features). Excellent mod, easy to use. Conflicted with Andreja’s walk mod but removed the mod made the enhanced version and reinstalled her walk with no problems.

Npc enhancer gun is a game changer nothing like running around the starfield with a beautiful sarah or andreja. If an npc annoys me there pretty much going to look like shrek or worse.

Lyria is my favorite companion. Her comments are absolutely hilarious. The voice actress has done an amazing job. She has lots of interactions, even when she is not your follower and just a crew member. I got so used to her that it feels like something is missing in Starfield, when she is not around. The vanilla version of Dani Garcia is somehow broken. She is using a wrong character model. I used the Enhancement Gun to correct her body into a female one. Nice that someone made a mod to fix this bug. Bethesda should have done it long ago. Flame on!

Excellent. I plan to keep running with Lyria and Robin and see how it goes. I noticed the body model seemed wrong with the default Dani. I was glad the mod changed it.

As far as I know, it's NOT a bug, since you can change your character's appearance and not change the gender when at Enhance. Bethesda seems to have done this deliberately with Dani Garcia for story reasons that you can discover when talking to her.

I appreciate the response, also..... I've gotten it to run on Mint, the problem is I very much prefer manually modding games. Do you know of anyone successfully doing this or that has a guide? I think it depends on how much modding you want to do. I've used Limo to some good effect on Linux, but I also do most Linux modding by hand. I just add the files and remove them as necessary.

The NPC Enhancer Gun is a perfect solution. It's simple and straightforward. And free. Free is good. Be aware that it doesn't work on Children. Only adult, named NPCs. Also, you can easily enable and disable it via load order without it causing problems. Oh, and Flame On!

15:30 I love the NPC Enhancer Gun mod. So far I've only used it on Andreja on a save where she's my main companion because I was tired of seeing her in that dress because I felt that it didn't really fit her character, but I'm sure it's great on others, too.

Great game. Modders are our heroes but please watch out for the following mods: 1) Ship.builder categories & HD face retextures Cause hitching and skipping. 2) Immersive gameplay (slows done fire rate of certain guns by like 90%) 3) skk combat stalkers at times causes game to crash and cockpit glitches 4) ship building framework, ship fleet expanding mods: increase hitching and game skipping. 5) hui mods. Cause glitches where you Unable to exit land vehicles.

Excellent overall. Your comment about Crafting for Everyone caused a reaction. It is absolutely a shame that modders are allowed to post their mods and they just don't work. How is it that the modder was able to post a mod that didn't work? You had to tell him that his mod didn't work as advertised before he fixed it? So he threw something together and hadn't tried it himself before making it available to the community? How does this happen? Anyhow enough for this rant. You got it fixed and that's the important thing. This is a great channel!

Thanks for your support. I think the issue is that the mod worked for the modder, or perhaps the modder was running a newer version and uploaded the old nonworking version? In any case that's the journey with free mods... I don't worry about it too much, although it can be frustrating sometimes. I work in tech so I'm surprised anything works at all. 😂

You probably need to set Dani Garcia's weight to zero (dead center) using the NPC Enhancer Gun. If you look at her forearm, it's misaligned with the rest of the arm. I'm guessing this is what the mod author meant by telling users to use the gun. It might also correct the clipping shown on her outfit. Flame on!

Oh I also wanted to add that I did like using the Enhancer gun to change NPC's appearances. But have switched to the Changling mod which just does a lot more including storing a NPC's look to be used for your own character or changing another NPC. Changling takes a little more time to learn how it works but overall is amazing. If you find the Enhancer Gun useful then you have to try Changling. Finally the Lyria mod is a hoot. The best part is the variety of random nonsense comments she makes. This really shines as having her as a crewmember on your ship. The stuff she says brings new life onboard. I guarantee a load of laughs with Lyria. This mod is worth every credit for me.

I'm using a mod from the creation club that's called changeling I think . It replaces one of your more useless starborn Powers . With a power that allows you to use enhance or copy your look on to other characters , or even swap your look with theirs . Unfortunately I've never found an NPC that I wanted to look like .

There's some great new armour set's plus a paid mod that upscale's the basic vanilla set's to better stats for late game suitability come out but without a doubt the Ramtech version 2 mod is the best mod in the game full stop it's amazing though I found that your ship sometimes shows as carrying contraband with zero chance to evade scan so it's one for your outpost, the Star Wars weapons mod has a flamethrower which is both wicked & evil fun so that's when I get my "Flame on" thank you as always for a great video.

I've bought starfield on Xbox, literally the reason I own a xbox for the first time. I will definitely buy it a second time if they bring it to my preferred platform Playstation. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 for that hope but until then I can play the version I already own on the Xbox series x.

11:50 Finally. Some really interesting utility for NPCs in Outposts. Is there a mod that makes NPCs more human? Need for oxygen, food, water, rest and other needs, along with your player, balanced of course. Starfield's survival mode is very bad. Who feels the need to eat every half hour of game time?
