I'm pretty sure you can build from your ship's inventory from anywhere, at the very least as long as it's in the same cell as you are. Also, with the large landing pad you can just use the ship builder to "summon" your ship.

Hey! Yes, though both the build range and the ship summon thing bug for me quite regularly. I should probably have explained that.

If you don't want to bother with the fast traveling to get your ship to the platform, you can go into the platform's menu and either swap your home ship back and forth or edit your home ship in some way (you can just move something, save it, then move it back), and it will teleport your ship to the platform.

Is that working now? Last time I tried it the ship would get a visual bug.

What i do in the beginning since you only have one ship change the color by one shade which isn't even noticeable and your ship will Telenor to the pad as well. Works as of today may 2 2024

@ShamsTales I'm late to the party but great guide! Thanks for the post. I did this as part of a quick second playthrough and apart from running out of beryllium and Cobalt a few times I got everything working. I scaled down what you did (6 x toxin 12xMeta) however, building 2 x Toxin GH and 4 x Meta. How did you come up with the ratio? I ask because I'm producing way too much metabolic and toxin production is lagging behind. I have enough water going into all, that's not my issue. Does anyone know the expected production rates or where to get that info? (Satisfactory player here :-) )

I'm standing directly on what should be aluminium deposit according to the map and it will not show up on the scanner.

From what I've discovered, the colours on the map don't actually show where the ores are. They show you where the biomes are with the ore in them. Thenores can spawn anywhere in their biomes ( I think ). That's why running along a birder can spawn ores from different biomes next to each other. If you can't find an overlap, you can still make individual Outposts for the resources.

Hey! I'd suggest the 5 Trade Authorities and surrounding shops. I recorded footage for a selling guide, but it's not quite enough for a full video. I may make it my first Short content, though

@@ShamsTales I've discovered that the Trade Authority in the Den (Wolf system) is the best place to sell. The vendor has 11000 credits and has a seat right next to him. Sell 916 amp to max his credits then wait 48 hours and rinse and repeat. Easy money 🤑

They have BUILDERS for the industrial parts, & greenhouses & husbandry bldgs for organic productions so WHY THE HELL dont they have builders for pharmaceuticals??? Someone send this info to Bethesda!

Also, all u guys making these outpost vids building all this stuff with no outpost perks unlocked, everything is so much cheaper if u max out OUTPOST ENGINEERING skill tree
