I agree, Lord Vader. This travesty should never have been allowed to happen. Yet, discontent festered and it was only a matter of time before it'd all boil over. Honestly miss the times when Star Wars made enjoyable content. I loved the force, Jedi vs. Sith, the battle between good and evil, morals tested, explosions, the battles. Star Wars was my childhood favorite show and film trilogy of all time. I even thought the early Disney stuff was cool. Granted, I was still a kid, so maybe that diluted Rebels for me. Star Wars Force Awakens was cool to me, even if it was a similar plot to the original trilogy, I liked it. Rouge One was awesome. But then they went down a path I could not follow. It became bland, slow paced, and just didn't click with me anymore. It stopped being star wars to me for most of the series they made. A shame really. I've read fanfics with better premises than recent films. I still feel cheated because I thought Fin would play a bigger role in the new trilogy. Dude had so much potential for force sensitive stormtrooper having a clash between morality, duty, and PTSD. I find a force sensitive stormtrooper an amazing idea personally. Be cool to follow a stormtrooper of the remnants of the empire trying to find another purpose, a better purpose. Or perhaps keep to what the Empire was to some, protectors and a sense of stability in a lawless galaxy. Think Mandalorian but the protagonist is a stormtrooper instead post-collapse of the empire as it fragmented into warring states and the new republic trying to build from the ashes. Imagine the world building potential! And how it'd do stormtroopers a little justice. I actually felt for the guys getting massacred most of the time. Having one be the protagonist for once would be cool. There's limitless potential with star wars, so many great stories to tell... and yet, all they've done is divide the fans, chasing the shadow of the greatness of their peak in the early 2010s. I miss those times, simpler, fun. I remember how many friends of mine were star wars fans. Every Halloween we had darth vaders, stormtroopers, and clones. Better times. Before the darkness, before the corporate greed wrung dry all the creativity and joy from that once great franchise. Where has all the joy and creativity gone? The hope? Sad, I truly want to enjoy star wars, but they haven't made many good things as of late. I'm not even big on the lore. I only ever watched the movies and shows at my friends house cause they had Disney on their TV, never knew where to get the comics. Fun times with the boys watching star wars every week.

@@lordvader1993ger Yeah, I get some people criticize it isn't quite like SW: Clone Wars. With a different artstyle, aesthetic, and less gruesome scenes that the clone wars liked to sneak in. Though, I never really knew fandoms were a thing until later. Never knew social media until the lockdowns came around. So I lived pretty innocently back then. I suppose that was my only critiques. Wasn't quite the same style as the clone wars, but was still pretty good to me. I still found the show captivating and pretty cool. With the callbacks to the clone wars plotlines and characters, Thrawn, the inquisitors, and the lightsabers. Maul vs. Kenobi was a pretty cool scene. Loved how precise and quick that went. Felt like how some duels went in real life. Always love lightsaber fights, those are peak, especially with how they had actual martial artists perform in the prequel trilogy. No wonder they looked so amazing. No doubt they are difficult to choreograph, and to have the flexibility to adapt should they improvise on set. It's like actual swordsmanship. Which makes it all the more cool. Being flashy is nice, but having some actual swordsmanship involved just makes it pleasing to see. Loved playing with my friends with plastic lightsabers back in the day. Playing out scenes from the films. Glory days.

Honestly this hardly come as a surprise and frankly it was a good thing I unsubscribed from *Star Wars Explained* almost two years ago (I unsubscribed since December 2022) but the reasoning was because they were so inconsistent with their Clone Wars Chronological rewatch episodes which leads to the series going on hiatus for 3-4 weeks or 3-4 months and because they were so lazy to not finish the Clone Wars Chronological rewatch which they first started in 2018 until 2023 (which I was unsubscribed) I just simply unsubscribed their channel following the release of the discussion of "The Wrong Jedi" and flush them from memory along with Dash Star 6 years earlier. Personally, Stupendous Wave, Star Force One and especially Star Wars Meg are the best Star Wars channels doing news and Star Wars content compared to Star Wars Explained right now.

Starwars Meg is one I couldn't care less about mostly being another generic "breaking news x character did this" type of channel. I really do not care for Star Wars theory, he is a bit full of himself and overreacts with a lot of things. I have never heard of Star Wars Explained and checked it out, it is awful. From what Theory was saying from personal experiences with this guy, from SWE, he sounds like a narcissist (or some other personality disorder). Anyway, I like Theory's fan films, but the rest of his content I will pass on, but the guy does not deserve to be demonetized, and if in fact SWE is behind it, well, he will continue to be in the shadow of others, and judging what his personality is like, that is punishment enough.

It’s his job and he is incredibly financially successful as well. Money is a factor just like it is for any full time content creator. Saying it’s not would ignoring reality. Theory sells sabres, and I’m sure has a ton of other business partners as well. Based on how big he is and popular. And is most likely a millionaire. Doesn’t make him inherently greedy or bad, but ofc money is a factor and motivates him to a degree.

However, when he began he was publishing videos almost daily while working a normal full time job. As such, I buy that he did this as he is passionate about Star Wars. Just watch one of Theory's videos - he is still passionate. Can't speak for Explain, however, as I stopped watching him several years ago when he defended Rion Johnson (Rion Johnson was being a jerk and attacking some Star Wars fans on twitter).

I think Theory is an egomaniac and making this whole thing about him - it's really not. Is he part of the problem? Absolutely. 3:29 - Star Wars Explained has been on KZbin since the early-mid 2010’s (2012-2014) not 2022, because I remember when I used to be subscribed to their channel before unsubscribing they started doing the Clone Wars Chronological Rewatch episodes since 2018 and did coverage of the Sequel trilogy films in 2014-2019.

@@cole71 Personally I unsubscribed from their channel because they were *VERY* inconsistent with their Clone Wars Chronological rewatch episode discussions and tend to go on hiatus with those episodes every 2-3 weeks or 3-4 months just to talk about the live-action shows or whatever XYZ Content on their channel and with Season 5 of Clone Wars it took them from October 2021 to December 2022 (with hiatuses included) to complete all the episode discussions from that season and following that and my fair share from the Toxic fanbase I just unsubscribe from them since December 2022 and just subscribe to Stupendous Wave and especially Star Wars Meg as my go-to Star Wars KZbin Channels. Even Star Wars Meg since I subscribed to her since 2022/2023 had better Star Wars video content and was the most civil and reasonable of the Star Wars Fandom and if she had did the Clone Wars Chronological rewatch in 2018 she would’ve finished that within two years compared to the five years it took Alex and Molly to finish that series.

It's really upsetting to see the mistreatment of Star Wars by Disney has divided the Fandom so much that there is a literal civil/legal war going on because we simply disagree. Though I am very proud of you Starforceone, as well as Tyrone Magnus, Stupendous Wave, and even Eckarts ladder for officially making statements on the matter. It is so disgusting to see a Star Wars channel try and take someone's livelihood who really has devoted his life to Star Wars. Theory has given us fan films with nothing expected in return and so much more. If you don't agree with Theory that is fine you don't have to but the hate isn't deserved.
