@@sneekyshot1 yes, it should. Paying people a living wage is important, and I’d rather pay slightly more and support a company that actually pays their employees what their time is worth than a billion dollar conglomerate that uses child labor.

All 3080/3090 for the past year or so have been LHR models, so unless they are selling GPUs manufactured in 2020 to early 2021 then it's a 99% chance of having the mining limiter on it. It doesn't affect gaming so it's not really a problem at all for gamers, just miners. I do wish they would have used at least an 850 watt on that elite system. I have an i7-12700K/3080 combo and I use a 1000 watt PSU just to make sure it has ample power just in case of spikes. I have the Tomahawk MB in my system and it's been really good, but I also only game on it so it gives me more than enough ports.

PC case wise, they are like Build Redux who use CoolerMaster D500 ARGB case exclusively. On any level system.

So I ended up getting a skytech pc, hero crosshair viii, 5950x, msi suprim x 3090ti, 2x 2tb ssd, 32g ram, metallic cube case, 9 rgb fans, 360mm rad for $3700. Not too shabby!

​ @Braethorn So I'm kind of a Lamen when it comes to Computers, I know the basics, and I'm sure I'll get some shit for it, But I actually ended up Getting one of the Horizon Pro II's. To be honest, i do have faith in these guys and I appreciate their transparency. I wanted to build one but for me and my current situation, Prebuilt was really the way to go for me, I did a little research and most definitely could have found something a little cheaper. Which was a main factor, I just don't have the time to build one myself. But fuk it, I took a shot in the dark. and from what I learned, they really are not that far off. Was a little confused why the Horizon Pro(which doesnt seem to be offered anymore) had a 3070, but the Pro II has a 6800XT? Isn't the 3070 more powerful? I'd imagine the Pro II would have a better card, I just was reading mixed things about the AMD 6000 series. Because the elite then has a 3080. I will say it does appear that that have Dialed things in a bit more, and their configs are more solid. I could be wrong tho. (like i said I know the basics, very basic. lol) I will try to update once it actually arrives. Was thinking I'd make a video on it because there are literally ZERO online about anyone actually receiving one and unboxing it/booting it up. So I may do that.....

I did the 3080, compared to the rtx 3090 ti the 3080 is only a few percent worse in performance. I say get a deal now cause the 4000 series is gonna be expensive unless you want to spend a boat load of money.

You should just run with the 3080 system because we know the 4090 was the only one coming out anytime soon, and now it's been delayed until 2023 so that pushes the 4070/4080 even farther back as well. Unless you're willing to spend 2K-3K on a GPU then you're better off getting that 3080 now while prices are down because it's expected that the prices will be going up as Nvidia is no longer producing anymore 3070-3090 GPUs.

Be careful when buying a gaming PC. I trusted the toasty bros and they sent me a terrible computer. Then to send it back I had to pay $280 dollars. Then the toasty bros charged me 15 percent restocking fee for junk. I paid 2600 so got ripped off by a KZbin rip off crew

I'm not a fan of the intel 12th gen. I just can't get behind brute force power guzzling CPUs. I feel the same about NVIDIA's 3080s and 3090's they are just hogs so for me with CPU I feel that AMD is providing a better product all around. I think SI's should also be providing a better product on the energy value side. Hey, take care, the most important thing.

If you think 12th gen are power guzzling, you've never gamed on a Pentium 4. The 12 gen i9 12900K uses just under 200 watts under load. The Pentium 4 570 ran at about 30 watts higher under load. This is for a 20 year old chip made for every day tasks. You could cook breakfast on your computer if you were gaming.

I never knew about transient spikes until GN made a video about them. now i hear about them everywhere :) . That being said a SI should about them too and those PSUs feel like skimping out to me .
